    Bought a sleeper sofa from Jennifer Furniture and it’s been pretty good so far. The sofa feels sturdy, looks nice, and the bed mechanism works smoothly. Guests have used it and found it comfortable. Delivery took a bit of time, but the installation was handled well. Overall, happy with the purchase.

    Purchased a Klaussner sleeper from the Jennifer Furniture Paramus store. The sleeper is absolutely phenomenal, quality is great and mattress is very comfortable. The delivery service was on time and was courteous. We would surely recommend this store to friends.

      Bought Bernhardt sectional from Jennifer Furniture online. I am based in Dallas and was skeptical initially. Since the sectional was made to order, team clearly laid the right expectations about delivery timeline. Sectional was delivered 14 weeks later as promised and delivery service was excellent. I am very happy with overall experience.

      I would give zero stars if that were possible. We purchased an expensive Italian sectional with recliners in October 2024. In preparation for its arrival, we gave away our old sectional—Only to receive a call the day before delivery informing us that one of the recliners was out of stock, contrary to what we were told at the time of purchase. We were ready to cancel the order and demand a refund when the warehouse manager, Fred **, called. He promised to send us a temporary chaise while we waited for the recliner to arrive from Italy—within a month—at which point it would be swapped out for the correct piece. A month passed. Then another. After numerous follow-ups, Fred ** finally called to say the recliner had arrived and that delivery would be scheduled. But a couple of days later, I got a call from Jennifer, who casually informed me that the recliner was actually the wrong material and I’d have to wait for the next shipment.

      Fast forward several more months to the last week of March. The recliner finally arrives. The chaise is taken away, and the recliner is installed. It was early morning, and I was in the middle of a virtual conference, so I didn’t inspect it closely. But when my husband got home, he immediately noticed that the fabric was darker, the cushioning was harder, and the piece did not match the rest of the sectional.

      I emailed the store right away with photos clearly showing the color difference—No response. I called and spoke with Jennifer, who said she would check with her supervisor and get back to me. Days passed. No update. I called again and got another employee, Pupal, who was shockingly rude, completely unprofessional, and utterly indifferent to customer service. She must own the store to feel that comfortable treating people so badly. She claimed the color difference was due to “wear and tear”—as if a high-end sectional should fade within six months!—and flatly stated that the case was closed. When I asked to speak with Fred **, she hung up on me.

      I emailed again. Jennifer finally replied to confirm that, yes, the case was closed on their end. No resolution. No accountability. No concern for the fact that we paid $9,000 for what is now a mismatched, two-tone sectional. At this point, my only real desire is to rent a truck and dump this sectional right at their front door. Do yourself a favor: STAY FAR AWAY from this store.

      Waiting over 3 month for a couch that was supposed to be delivered in one month. Pupal the director of sales located in Paramus NJ was quick to take our deposit but has not returned our repeated calls, I have nasty texts from her saying that our couch can't be canceled because it was custom. However, when we ordered it it was already on a container on the water that is not CUSTOM. Contacting CEO John Garg.

      I purchased a leather sofa from Jennifer convertible and I had it for 20 years without any issue just normal wear and tear. Approximately five years ago, I bought another sectional from Jennifer Convertibles and the leather is peeling. A sofa that cost me $4000 should not be peeling. Their quality has really gone down and there is no ownership by the company. Even the armrest were not built to last. It is very disappointing, and I will never buy another one.

      I ordered a couch on September 19th from a woman named Pubble. She promised delivery by Thanksgiving. I paid a $1000 more than my designer would have charged me. It's January 4th and I still have no couch. My family's holidays were ruined! These people are unconscionable. They truly do not care about their customers.

      I placed a $100 hold on a couch 2 weeks ago. I specifically asked if I could get my money back if I didn’t end up purchasing the couch and I was told yes. Yesterday I put another $200 and then read all these terrible reviews. I asked YESTERDAY if I could get my money back and was told 72 hours had passed as per the receipt. Not even 24 hours have passed. I am unemployed. Those $200 are very needed by my husband and I. I was robbed blindly by them. They are offering store credit instead of giving me my hard earned money. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.

      I truly regret making an online purchase with Jennifer Furniture. I purchased a sectional sofa that arrived with a broken armrest and a rip underneath the seat. I was advised to submit a ticket with their vendor Servco which was just giving me the run-around.. I followed up with Servco only to be told they informed Jennifer Furniture that they closed out my ticket. This is absolutely the worst company; basically if you purchase defective furniture the consumer is stuck with it.

      This company only cares about getting money from consumers but they do not stand by their defective furniture. My advice to anyone reading this post, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM JENNIFER FURNITURE. This company should be ashamed of how they conduct business and treat consumers. Please know when you make a purchase you are stuck paying for defective furniture... no returns, they won't fix it, they lie and give you the run-around knowing they never had any intention of making this situation right... Stay away from Jennifer Furniture.. I am now stuck paying ~$2,500 for defective furniture.... NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

      I just want to say that the online store is the worst experience ever! I implore you to not use Jennifer furniture online. When I placed an order for a $3,000 sofa they said that it was estimated to be here within 2 weeks' time. Now they're saying it's another five weeks potentially for delivery. I asked for a refund considering that I have not received the item and they were not truthful about when it would be delivered upon ordering. If I would have known that it was over 5 weeks to be delivered, then I would have never ordered from Jennifer online. Now they are saying that I owe 30% of the entire purchase plus the delivery fee just for trying to cancel the order which has not been delivered and has not been shipped. This is the most unethical type of practice that a business could employ and I urge you to reconsider where you are making your purchases from when you are purchasing furniture.

      Last month (April) I purchased what I thought was the perfect sofa. It was the Bolsena 3- seater sleeper sofa in caramel, perfect contrast against the floor. I called and confirmed the availability and the color (specifically using the term orangish) of the sofa before making my purchase as their website suggested; the sofa was offered in both brown and caramel, which was more or less like a burnt orange/orange brown color, a distinct, and totally different pigment to the brown. Today it arrived...in brown. Not only was it the wrong color, but it also wouldn't fit through the door and I had to leave it on my back porch (I had to hire movers, but that's another story).

      I contacted the store and was told that the sofa only came in brown and that the color difference may have been due to the lighting. Lighting would only change the shade, not the color itself. There was/is a significant difference between the two options--easily recognizable! Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the sofa in question, and the caramel sofa is no longer on their website--How Convenient.

      This store is the one-stop destination for all custom furniture. They have a really good collection and the quality seems top-notch. Trusting that these furniture are durable enough and just placed the order in a short span. One should definitely have a look at their store to understand the depth of the collection!!!       10/06/2021 upon placing the order and “paying in full”, the rep that was helping us stated that the table and chairs would take 4 to 6 weeks to get. He then went on to state that the rest of the furniture would be delivered by 4/2022 the latest. Upon receiving the table and chairs in mid November 2021, I had asked if there was any specific date for the rest of the furniture to arrive. Jennifer Furniture stated that they did not have an exact date. We had family over for the Christmas holiday. We were using our new dining room table and chairs for our Christmas Eve dinner.

      My mother in law who has Parkinson's disease was sitting on one of the chairs that they had sold us. My mother in law was talking to us when all of a sudden we heard a crack sound. It was the sound of wood breaking! We watched my mother in law fall to the floor and slam her head. I ran over to help her. She was discombobulated and had to sit on the floor for several minutes to gather herself as she was not feeling well after that. I noticed that one of the legs to the Savona Genieve side chair that she was sitting on had broke off the framing of the chair. Approx. 3 days later I had contacted Jennifer Furniture and ripped them a new one as I was not happy!

      The rep at Jennifer Furniture stated that they’d have a new chair for me in about 1 week. This was the end of December. I didn’t get my new replacement chair until approx. February 2022. I only received my new chair because I started writing bad reviews and putting the images of the chair up and explaining what had happened. The store manager in Farmingdale contacted me asking me if I could remove the negative review and images. She then stated that she had my chair but there was nobody to deliver it because of “c19”. I told her that I’d pick it up myself! I had gone to pick up my chair and noticed that there was 8 more brand new chairs just sitting around in the back, all in their boxes. I had inquired about my missing (2 pieces) furniture that they still owed me.

      The manager told me that the items were on the ship and on their way over. She stated that I should be getting a phone call to set up a delivery date real soon. Well, 3 more months had gone by and I was still waiting! I text a cellphone number that I had from the Farmingdale store. I informed whoever that was reading the text that I was soon going to repost my negative review once again! About 2 days later I receive a phone call from some “higher-up” with Jennifer Furniture stating that he’s sorry for the inconvenience and that he guarantees that my items will be delivered by mid August 2022.

      I told him that I had paid the company in “full” and that Jennifer Furniture had my money in their bank account collecting interest and I was still missing my furniture that was promised to me by April 2022. I also informed him that every time I called the store the manager gave the same answer that the furniture was on the ship and on its way over. So many lies from managers at this company along with their associates. I have called again today to speak to the “higher-up” who I had spoken to the last time. The associate read the notes in the computer then puts me on hold. She had come back to tell me that the “higher-up” is not around and for me to give my name and phone number so they can call me back.

      I had asked what the “higher-up’s” name is and she tells me “Fred Love”. More games and more lies! I am not a fool! Fred Love is one of the three founders of Jennifer Furniture. The store was named after Fred Love’s daughter. Fred Love passed away back in 2004. These are the games and the lies that this company plays with its customers. I may possibly consider legal action as the company is holding my money and collecting interest on it. In another month it will be one full year that I’m waiting for my two items that I paid for in full! Do not do any business with this company! You will regret that you did!

      Please, never, ever purchase furniture from Jennifer. They have the worst code of ethic. Ordered furniture 6/20/21. Disputed purchase with credit card one year later. They had me on the run for six months with their disingenuous information. Each customer is promised the best and receives the worst. Finally had enough of being treated as an interruption of their workday, not the purpose. In this era of Customer Service being the differentiator in most business, please STAY away. They stall, they give false deliver dates and do not want to return your money without a penalty. Went to file complaint with their Corporate Office in Woodbury, NY. They were gone. Finally disputed charge on my credit card. Be weary, be SMART. Wish I could rate them zero. They so deserve it. STAY AWAY.

      I ordered a sofa in October 2021. I was told it would be delivered December 2021. It was not, there were multiple dates given and no furniture, I was flying from NY to Florida and purchasing tickets to receive this furniture and so it was costing me money. When this was escalated to another manager it was told that the order was not placed properly. We placed a dispute with the financing company as i would not pay for something that wasn't even ordered. We eventually received a sofa in January and it was the wrong one and it was dirty!! I agreed to just keep the one they sent .

      The company said they would send a service team out to check the sofa on Feb 11th, no one came. They promised us another set of slip covers and an ottoman free of charge. the ottoman came with a busted leg and the slipcovers have still not come. We have multiple texts and pictures of all of this and now the manager is ignoring us. I paid 5000$ and I want something done about this company and its horrific service for all this aggravation and it's still not resolved.

      I purchased a sofa sectional With the pull out bed on April 2017, I paid approximately 2300. By November 2021 the entire couch is peeling in the seams headrest and cushions. I contacted Guardsman Protection Plan and they told me this was not covered. This was a defect issue but I need to contact the company Jennifer Convertibles. I’ve been trying to contact someone at Jennifer Convertibles complaint department. No one answers the phone for the last three days. I think it’s a shame that such a large company who people counted on to sell them quality furniture has Abandon their customers. This company has to be held accountable and exposed.

      Ordered a dining table with 6 chairs back in May. Received in August which was fine. When delivery people came and was setting up table I noticed few scratches and they state, "Oh that's ok. They will take care of it. Just take pictures." Seats also have some scratches. As they left we open extension part as to where the middle was cracked. Horrible. I immediately called manufacturer and sent all pictures.

      The furniture store customer service is horrible. Spoke with someone. Won't mention name. Was nasty. Stated, "Oh I will not refund you. I said, "Why not?" He said, "Because I won't." I stated, "I was told this table was Italian. Come to see the table made in China. Poor quality. Not worth the price they charged!" He stated, "Oh I will give you credit or exchange after all." I said I don't want another table. He proceed to say, "Oh I will get letter together and have my account send to you." Days went by. Still all same then received a letter whereas to, "You are not allowed to claim or stop payment with credit card." Till this day I'm still fight and table and chairs are still here. That being said I don't want to purchase anything now, But want my money Back.
