Victoria of Ssf, CA January 17, 2009

Victoria of Ssf CA (01/17/09)
i bought a couch, and the warrenty to it. i call because of ink mark and other things on the couch that is surpose to be covered. they came buy, look at it then said it wasn't coverd. now i don't want this stupid couch, and i'm still paying for it. i don't think that i should still have to pay for it, if they don't fix it. that was why i bought the warrenty in the first place. still paying for the ugly couch.

I purchased couch and loveseat from them and it was delivered to me in March 07, when I purchased the furniture I also purchased the extended warranty. Now they went bankrupt and I have a couch that the leather is fading and worn I have not even started paying for this furniture yet. I called the extended warranty company and they informed me they do not handle this that the company I bought the furnitre from does.

Well there is no more Levitz and now I am stuck with a couch that is almost 2 years old and the leather is faded from sitting on the couch. I do not know what to do or who to call. This is not fair to me that the company is out of business and now I have to pay for something that looks like it is 50 years old. I know alot of people who have Leather couches and that are not worn and faded. Please I need held I do not know what to do.

I will have to start paying for this couch next year 2010

well i put a dining table and a sofa on layaway. they never warned me about any bankruptcy. until 10/07 i see a comercial about levitz going bankrupt. i immediately went the next day to see if i can get anything worth the money i put down for the furniture. well the manager said i couldnt take any piece of furniture out the store that i need to file a claim. well guess what? i filed the claim did what i had to do. you want to know what the outcome was? nothing ihave yet to recieve my money. LEVITZ GIVE ME BACK WHAT YOU OWE ME. FAIR IS FAIR.

I NEVER RECIEVED ANY FURNITURE.IM JUST UPSET THAT THEY MIGHT GET AWAY WITH THIS AND I WILL NEVER SEE MY MONEY. THATS MY DAMAGE.

Frances of Glendora, CA December 15, 2008

Frances of Glendora CA (12/15/08)
I bought 2 leather couches, 3 years ago on same as cash plan. I was unable to make payments and also pay off the total amount due this past November. The original amount due was 2849.99. The toal after billed deferred finance charges is 5,956.76 at 24%. I was hoping to make a reasonable payment amount to begin paying this off but the the accrued finance charge is more than the couches! Can you please let me know if there is anything I can do about this? Thanks so much.

I am on a fixed income and it is economically difficult for me to pay this huge amount. I also feel that it is illegal.
