I hate my sleep number bed! The next time I purchase a bed will be the cheapest one they sell at Rooms to Go or a similar place.

Jack of Fairless Hills, PA December 22, 2008

Purchased bed three years ago, pump stopped working in less than a year. 2nd pump quit in less than 18 months. 3rd pump losing air after one hour same day it was installed, refilled three times in four hours still losing air. I hope it still has air in the morning. Why can't they make a decent pump after all the money they charge for the bed? If I was the celebrity hawking this bed I'd be VERY embaressed.

Sleepless nights and a feeling of being ripped off.

we bought a select comfort queen bed 3 yrs.ago.we were washing the mattress cover when i noticed that the mattress stitching for the zipper was coming out.the bed has also developed a channel in the middle between the air chambers.when we bought the bed for 2000.00 dollars the final selling point was that there was a 20 year warranty.when i called about the zipper problem i was told that they would only pay 68%of the cost to replace the mattress.if we had been told of the way the warranty was going to work instead of being told it was 20 yrs.regardless.i would never have bought the bed.i could have gone to a conventional bed or a memory foam for the same money and gotten a better product.their customer service sucks.when we first got the bed i would have and did reccommend it.now i am regretting that and i hope that nobody i spoke to went ahead and bought one.no mattress should start to fall apart in 3 years.this is a joke

WOW I wish I had read all the complaints about the Select Comfort/ Sleep Number beds before I bought one. I guess I know why they changed their name through the years. The mattresses go flat, and their pumps are trash! Zippers break! Customer service is a joke! Please pay attention to the complaints. BUYER BEWARE!

Marianne of Crystal Lake, IL December 16, 2008

Marianne of Crystal Lake IL (12/16/08)
We also bought a Sleep number bed and hate it! Always rolling to one side, received a foam center and a foam life for underneat the mattress. Still horrible. Felt like I was sleeping on a camp cot and spent the night trying not to roll to one side, I had to hold on to the edge all night. We got no support from the MANY phone calls & e-mails to the company. None of our family will sleep in it either after putting it in our spare bedroom. Luckily we hadn't gotten rid of our old bed and now sleep on that.

Wasted 1200.00
