Douglas of Ocala, FL December 15, 2008 Douglas of Ocala FL (12/15/08) Lori of Marietta, GA December 11, 2008 Lori of Marietta GA (12/11/08) Wendy of Marietta, GA December 11, 2008 Wendy of Marietta GA (12/11/08) Sherry of Glen Allen, VA December 10, 2008 Sherry of Glen Allen VA (12/10/08) George of Milpitas, CA December 10, 2008 George of Milpitas CA (12/10/08) The design of the bed can certainly explain why so many consumers have difficulty with the product, The pump is almost gauranteed not to last for 20 years, inflating and deflating the bed over the course of time can certainly contribute to sagging and unevenness of the mattress as well as air leakage. What surprised me the most was the reaction most consumers got from customer support. It sounds like they have been trained to buy time until the trial period is over and then the customer is on his/her own, also the fact that while under warranty, the customer is responssible for shipping and delivery charges. It sounds like this company is only after peoples money and customer satisfaction is a thing of the past. It also sounds like Select Comfort has made better quality beds in the past and over the years they have concentrated on the business aspect and profitability and are paying less attention to quality. They should know that whith the economy being the way it is now, people are watching their money and are spending it more wisely and will thing twice before spending thousands of dolloars on a bed. ( I, myself am one for example) and after reading comments from actual customers and their experience with the product, have decide to stick to my current seally postropetic adjustable bed. At least I know it wont break in a couple of years or sooner and I won't have to put up with crapy salepeople and ignorant customer service.
I would like to thank all the unsatisfied customers for posting their real life experience about this product, you have just saved me thousands of dollars. Report Your Experience
