I've owned a Select Comfort for 15 years. It is the best bed I have owned. I have a problem with my side of the bed, it has a slow leak in it,how do you go about repairing the leak? The leak is on my side of the bed.

over 4,000 paid for the bed and it is broken 2.5 years after purchase. All of a sudden it is NOT covered under the 20 year, no questions warranty that we were told it has.. The bed looses air from both chambers when plugged into the pump, and one side even looses air when it is capped. Sleepless nights, backpain etc.. all from the bed that says it will solve it all.. Seems like we aren't the only ones wiht this problem, and I am not giving them anymore money! 20 year limited warranty.. yeah ok, THEN TELL ME THAT BEFORE I SPEND OVER 4,000 ON YOUR PRODUCT

We bought our bed from a mattress firm. The sales guy he told us that the warranty on the bed was 20 years, no matter what happened to the bed it would be replaced or repaired. NOT THE CASE AND I AM MAD, TIRED ETC. FROM NOT SLEEPING! The bed is leaking, two different problems.

Side #1 is leaking because the pump doesn't hold the air in, nor does it refill when the number drops (as it used to). Side #2, pump broken as well, but bed looses air when plugged as well.. 4,000 for a bed that is broken in 2.5 years. We have had problems since purchase, at first the parts were replaced no questions asked, but now, they want to chanrge me. I AM NOT GIVING THEM MORE OF MY MONEY! I have emailed back and forth for months and months and months.. ANYONE OUT THERE WANT TO FILE A CLASS ACTION SUIT??/ PLEASE CONTACT ME

I have purchased 2 used sleep number beds for my vacation home. I have a superior airbed made by another company. The sleep number covers fray in less than a year. There is a trench or gap between the chambers and the warranty is a joke. I would not recommend purchasing a Select Comfort product. I do love my other airbed and it costs less.

Boy, am I glad to have found this forum. I was this close to buying a model 5000 Select comfort. I visited their store in the mall and I almost bought one, but thanks to my wife who said lets go home and think about this for a couple of days after all, this is not a small investment. I have heard so many good thigs about Select comfort and especially with a celeberty endorsing it, I said this is the bed for me, with the lower back pain and everything. After all, it's suppose to adjust itself to the individuals curves and provide support to the body portion who is touching the mattress.

The design of the bed can certainly explain why so many consumers have difficulty with the product, The pump is almost gauranteed not to last for 20 years, inflating and deflating the bed over the course of time can certainly contribute to sagging and unevenness of the mattress as well as air leakage. What surprised me the most was the reaction most consumers got from customer support. It sounds like they have been trained to buy time until the trial period is over and then the customer is on his/her own, also the fact that while under warranty, the customer is responssible for shipping and delivery charges. It sounds like this company is only after peoples money and customer satisfaction is a thing of the past.

It also sounds like Select Comfort has made better quality beds in the past and over the years they have concentrated on the business aspect and profitability and are paying less attention to quality. They should know that whith the economy being the way it is now, people are watching their money and are spending it more wisely and will thing twice before spending thousands of dolloars on a bed. ( I, myself am one for example) and after reading comments from actual customers and their experience with the product, have decide to stick to my current seally postropetic adjustable bed. At least I know it wont break in a couple of years or sooner and I won't have to put up with crapy salepeople and ignorant customer service.

I would like to thank all the unsatisfied customers for posting their real life experience about this product, you have just saved me thousands of dollars.
