I damaged my ten-year-old Leupold rifle scope ten days before Elk season. Frantic, I red-labeled the scope back to them in Oregon along with a note of my predicament.

Leupold red-labeled me a brand new, upgraded scope at no charge! The damage to the scope was clearly my fault and Leupold was in no way obligated to replace it at their cost. What a great company!
