Cybersonics

No Show

Lori of Ogallala NE (1/12/02):
In early October I ordered the Cybersonic toothbrush after seeing the infomercial with Robert Ulrich. To date I have not received the product. My credit card was billed $19.95 in November. This showed up on my December credit card statement. I called the 800 number listed on my credit card for the Cybersonic charge and spoke with a woman who stated that their computers were down - she took my information and said she would research it and call back when the computers were back up. She never called back.

I just received my Janary credit card statement - there was not a credit to my account.

Lucy of Toronto (12/31/01):
I placed an order for CyberSonic toothbrush after watching its ad on the TV on December 2nd 2001. I agreed to pay the entire amount in one shot ($109.70 including shipping and handling) instead of the installments when I was told by the person taking the order that the product will reach me with in 10 business days if I pay the entire amount right away.

My credit card was charged with the above amount on Dec 4th 2001 but there is no sight of the product yet (as on 23th Dec 2001). I have been trying to call for last few days to report the same but I always get a message said: this number was disconnected, no future information, no matter what time I try. I have now sent a letter to their address describing the same and I am not too sure when they will respond, if at all they do.

Shirley of Inglewood, CA:
I purchased a Cybersonics toothbrush cleaning system on 9/7/00. I have not received it after being told on 9/19/00 it was being processed by the company. On 10/09/00, I called Cybersonics and was told they have no knowledge of my order. My order was placed through the U.S. mail -- the letter was not returned.

When I called yesterday, I was told to fax a copy of my money order to their company. Upon several attempts, I have not been able to send my fax. Someone assured me also that they would contact me regarding the disposition of my order. No one has bothered to do so. This product cost $118.00 which I consider a sizeable amount of money.

I would like very much to have their product, however, if it is not available I want my money refunded.

This is why it's a poor idea to send money orders. The company can simply pocket the money and the consumer can't prove it was ever received.
