Fast Abs

In July 2003, the Federal Trade Commission has reached a $5 million settlement with Fast Abs and makers of similar gadgets.

Joann of Columbia SC (8/22/03):
I ordered the fast abs off an infomerical to tighten my abs and lose weight. Based on the information 5 mins equals up to 400-600 situps. I followed the directions and diet plan. I have not lost any weight or tightendc any abs. /em>i heard about the Federal Trade Commission lawsuit against these companies and like to know what course should i take. I still have the belt, the original shipping package and instructions. By the time I noticed the belt did not work the money back guarantee had expired.

I lost over $40.00 for a device that does not work. After seeing the infomercial I was encouraged and hopeful and when the device did not work I felt so discouraged and disgusted with my body like nothing would not work and depressed for a while.

To lose weight and improve muscle tone, Joann needs to eat less and exercise more. Exercise does not mean sitting there while a machine supposedly does the work.
