Andy of Dexter MI (11/28/08)
well i just got my new 40 inch flat screen polaroid from walmart less then 4 hours ago. i hooked it all up and it wont turn on so i call customer service and of course their closed. so i figured the next best thing to do would be to google it so i did. only to end up with a whole lot of complaints from other people who have had the exact same problem. this is ridiculus i havnt even got to watch it yet before it already stopped working.

we bought a 37 lcd tv from wal mart it is a polaroid in march of 2007 in march of 2008 it quite working. we called them and they sent out a part and a technition came about a week later, he put the part in but it didnt work. so polaroid said they would send out another part. they did this three times, in about 2 months time. finally they said they would send a replacement tv. when we got that it was pretty beat up not like the new one i had. this tv didnt work either so polaroid said they would send out a part for that tv. now we are going on 4 months without this tv. the new part came and that one didnt work either.

i talked to polaroid today to get another part sent out but they said it was past the warrenty and if i wanted to get the tv fixed i would have to pay 265 plus shipping of the part. I am very mad at them and wish some thing could be done .I have heard alot of people have had problems with this tv. we are the consumer and we pay alot of our hard earned money to have nice things and we should be treated better. or at least be reimburst for the cost of the tv..........

this tv has put me back 1020.00 if i have it fixed ad another 350.00. and i have gone without this tv for 8 months. not to mention all the money wasted shiping parts back and fourth by polaroid, that us the consumer will pay in the end.

I bought a Poloroid LCD 32 inch tv from Circuit City in July '06 for 1000.00 It stopped working Sept '08. I tried numerous times to get thru to poloroid for warranty with no luck. This is rediculous. Have seen on many websites and searches many many people having the same problem. This company has a name and it is DIRT in my eyes!

I purchased a Polaroid flatscreen TV for my parents over 1 year ago. The TV after watching for a while the screen goes out and we can only hear the voices from the TV. I have gotten with Walmart( to where I purchased the TV) and they told me I was basically OUT OF LUCK! Polaroid also told me the same thing. Now I'm out of 700.00 and without a TV for my parents.

If this is how this company treats its customers, then no wonder this company is going down hill. I have told all my friends and family and they have told thier friends and family the same. One of them has even had a TV like the one we had and had reported it to the Better Business Bureau. I hope this company is happy on robbing from the poor and making themselves rich.

I have owned a Polaroid TDA-03211C, 32 Widescreen LCD TV/DVD Combo for approximately one year. Tonight the DVD unit would not eject the DVD. From research that I have conducted on the internet, there appears to be many, many people who have had similar and other problems with the TV products from Polaroid.

. Can you help us to receive our money back?

There are many, many people over the United States that have purchased these similar products from Polaroid only to have them become defective over a very short period of time. We have all lost our money and time trying to get these fixed. Consumer confidence in Polaroid is not very good at this time. Thank you.
