Customer Service made promises that weren't kept. I had spoken with them a month before my account was going to "revert to full price". After spending almost 2 hours on the phone (ugh) they told me to call back today (before the account flipped) and that they had put on the account a note to give me $8/mth for two vehicles. In calling today, I got hit with the account already flipped to full price, I was stuck with one month of that (apparently the date I was given was two days AFTER the flip, not before) and they had no record of the deal offered to me and the "only" deal they had was $7/mth for one vehicle.
It took almost 15 minutes to get out of the AI hell that precede speaking with anyone as it was on a loop and could not be interrupted while going on and on about how wonderful XM was. even then it tried to talk me out of speaking with anyone. Once I did get someone, nothing they could to as there were no notes or attachments to my account.
So then the next LONG hassle trying to cancel the account. OMG that was time wasted that I'll never get back. I'm generally a pretty calm person on customer service calls because rarely is it the fault of the person on the phone. But it was hard to contain it as the clock kept ticking and we were going nowhere. The AI up front didn't help matters as it was like talking to a brick wall.

I have multiple accounts with SiriusXM from purchasing 2 new cars. I called to have accounts consolidated. After 2 hours on the phone with their Foreign account representative (** I believe) the issue was not resolved nor progressed any further than when I called. I finally had enough. I decided to cancel all services, remove my account and asked the representative to remove me from any and all mailing lists. At this point the representative bad mouthed me, asked me if I believed in Allah then hung up. Would I ever recommend this service to anyone. A absolutely NOT!
Their customer service is extremely poor at best, stations recycle every 3-4 hours and they are not worth their subscription price. This is one company that should be shut down by the Gov't and relinquished to the dustbin of history! Why pay these thieves when 99% of stations have an app and you can listen over your smartphone for free. Not to mention Spotify, Apple Music or Amazon Music. All are cheaper, have more songs and better quality. I'd highly recommend staying away from this company...

042126. Called to renew my subscription. I had to speak to 4 different employees due to a language barrier. & incompetence. Every time I call to renew the experience is worse! Hire staff that work in customer service that speak & understand ENGLISH! Your company review numbers are in the trash.

They overcharge you without notifying you. I will not use SiriusXM ever. They emailed me the first two years and charged me a reasonable amount. I didn't hear from them the last 2 years and 4 months. I checked my credit card and they have been charging me $25.99 per month!!

SiriusXM lied about auto-renewal for the 4th time. They charged me a ton of money because auto-renew was still on.

Sirius will set you up on automatic renewal. I hate auto renewals..so for several years now, my renewals were always done with paper check mailed in. This year I chose not to keep the service. I responded to the first billing with a note written on the bill and mailed back. The same with the second billing. A written note saying I no longer wanted the service. The next month I get a call that I am behind in my auto renewal and have a bill with a late fee attached.

I signed up for a SiriusXM promotional plan (about $5/month) and immediately ran into issues trying to actually use the service. First problem: they do not provide your full account number. The confirmation email only shows the last four digits. When I contacted support, no one could give me the full account number or a clear way to verify and access my account. Second problem: I cannot log in to the app. Their system finds my account when I enter my name and email, but it turns into a loop: Enter info. Account is found. Click “Listen Now”. Get redirected to a page trying to sell me a subscription I already have. See the attached pictures to get an idea of what this looks like on the app.
So I’m paying for a service I literally cannot access. I canceled out of frustration and then re-subscribed, thinking it might fix the issue. It didn’t. Same exact problem. Customer support was able to locate my account, but not actually fix anything. No one could restore access, and no one could explain why this is happening. At this point, the biggest issue isn’t the price or the content, it’s that basic account access and management doesn’t work. That should be the bare minimum for any subscription service. Very disappointing experience.

Well when I bought my car december 2024 I got a good deal $3.65 a month for 2 years. Well I got an Email 3 days ago saying since I sold my car I no longer have the music. I stressed thinking someone was trying to steal my car. I called them up at work today. They told me they would give me 3 months free then it will be $30 a month. I feel like I got scammed. I will call my lawyer tomorrow because he sent me something on text message and I clicked the ok box. I should not have done that. I feel disrespected by what they did.

We were listening to Channel 97 which is supposed to be CLEAN comedy. Mark Ellis was liberal in his profanity which I had not heard on 97 before (the “f” word) in the comedy roundup. Why are his sketches allowed when this is supposed to be comedy that a family could listen to? I love Sirius, but this was disappointing especially since Jeff Foxworthy attaches his name to this channel. Thank you for listening to my concern as a listener, and grandparent.

Save your money. They play the same music over and over. They lie about pricing. I have been with Sirius XM for almost 20 years. Last time I renewed I was told I was given an offer that locked me in for life at 9.99/month plus tax. That went good for about a 1.5 years and then they decided to raise my rate. I called and asked what the deal was and they said their rates increased so the increased mine. I told them I was told I was locked in at 9.99 for life and they guy pretty much told me that's too bad, This is the new rate. They don't honor their word. It has gotten to the point that the music that they do play repeats in about 2 hours and you hear the same songs multiple times per a normal work day. It has consistently went downhill over the years. Save your money or spend it on spotify premium or Amazon music. I don't recommend Sirius to anyone.

I had a contract with Sirius Radio for 3 years. I traded in my truck and got a new one. Sirius radio dropped me. Dropped my contract. said I'd had to start over because I got on different vehicle. They sure took the fun out of me getting a new vehicle. I find it really lousy that they would not honor it the same contract with a different vehicle. I tried calling customer service. You go through 85 prompts and then a woman on the other end wants to try and verify you even more before she even talks to you. It is one cold ass company. They don't have customer service. They have rules and regulations. I'm going to start leaving a new review every week for the same problem until they correct it. And when they call me about this I'm going to make them prove six different ways to Sunday. Who the heck they are before I'm going to talk to them. Give him a little taste of their own medicine. Can you tell I'm pissed?

They have been charging me, but do not actually provide a signal to my car. I’ve tried to log in to fix, it’s impossible. Spoke with an online agent, didn’t fix it. Spoke with ai assistant online, didn’t work. Spoke with ai assistant on phone, didn’t work. Terrible service, just get Spotify.

Have had Sirius in 2 vehicles for many years. I notified them that I was not going to renew at the price they were offering because it was more that the previous year (one month prior had negotiated a better price for husbands vehicle upon renewal date). A couple of months later, a $7.99 charge from them appeared on my credit card for the vehicle that I had cancelled the Sirius service. When I called Sirius to inquire about the charge..after about 5 minutes of discussion, SHE HUNG UP ON ME. WOW, impressive customer service Sirius.

Spent over an hour trying to get the same promo I had last year. I was lied to at least 10 times, talked down to, and told I needed to pay the new price, until I found the promo code online, then it was like opening the gates or Sirius with my secret code. Disgusting & disappointing customer service. Choke on my $9 a month.

Literally such a huge hassle to cancel, they don't respect the customer at all. Ask for the same information multiple times and waste so much time. You can't even cancel on your own from their website, you need to talk to an agent

Sirius XM came with my car & I loved my trial period so when they sent their promo in the mail to keep my membership after the trial for $6/month, I signed up immediately. Unfortunately, my promo period is over and the price is actually almost $30/month. We have Spotify Premium in addition to this & don’t see the need to keep it. So we’re trying to cancel and it has been such a trip. You go through the typical clicks to say why you want to cancel yada-yada, you skip over the promo they give trying to save the membership ($18 base package), THEN you have to chat with an agent to cancel.
We’ve been on a chat with this guy for going on 15 minutes, he’s provided TWO different promo prices and continues to try to sell even though we’ve repeatedly & respectfully declined and asked to cancel. It’s at the point of ridiculous. I say all of this as someone who has worked sales & telemarketing and has the MOST respect and patience for the people on the other side of the screen.

Last year I had completed a Promotional period of service in September 2025. I then received a bill for close to $160. Upon receiving this bill, I contacted SiriusXM and stated I wanted to cancel my subscription. The representative insisted that I not cancel my subscription! He could offer another Promotion and remove that close to $160. charge. The Promotion offered was for 6 months at just under $40. I accepted this promotion and was told I would be billed. Well, I received no bill until January 2026, when I received another bill for close to $160.
Once again I contacted SiriusXM by phone and stated that I was under a promotion and if I had to pay close to $160. then I wanted to immediately cancel my subscription. This Representative said that I did not have to cancel. He could offer me another promotion that would give me another 6 months for a total of just over $30. Once again I stated that I was not going to pay the close to $160. bill that I was receiving. This Representative stated that I would not have to pay this amount and that my Promotion would start again and the close to $160. bill would go away. My service continued.
Fast forward to Yesterday 03/01/26, my service is interrupted. I call SiriusXM and I am told my service is being interrupted because I owe close to $160. Once again I explain the entire dilemma above, and this Representative explains he is escalating my situation to Accounting Dept. Today I receive a call from a Representative in Canada who basically says there is nothing she can do and that I owe the close to $160. Same $160 that was supposed to come off twice, once last year and again in January 2026. This Canadian Representative explained to me that I was NEVER placed on any other promotion and that this was the same close to $160. that I was billed from back in September 2025 when my initial promotion had expired.
So those promises of new promotions made by other representatives were absolute lies!!! NEVER HAPPENED!!! This has left a HORRIBLE taste for SiriusXM. I have been a a customer for many many years. They want your business at all costs but aren't willing to follow through with their promises. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE of SiriusXM!!!

While I like Sirius reception everywhere, the maddening thing is they move the best channels around and have moved my two favorite, Deep Tracks and Spa, to online only channels. I am totally done with them.

Absolutely no service. I am in Quebec and have asked multiple time for English correspondence to no avail. Now I am canceling. Even to cancel is an issue to get through. Do not need this abuse by any supplier.

Worst customer service by far. Service centers are mostly in Asia and they will lie and cheat with bait and switch tactics. In a connected streaming world. SXM is the equivalent of having a satellite dish for TV. I do like the programming but the sound quality is second rate compared to HD radio and streaming services. The advantage of SXM is if you live in remote areas. The interface with most cars is good but also Tesla owners about their challenges. I'm not a fan of having to constantly renegotiate my agreement. The app is and website do not work well together and it's difficult to do certain maintenance items on the app.
My latest experience was calling in to switch my plan to my new vehicle. I was told my old plan was no longer available and that I had to buy something else...This I found out later was a lie. I asked to speak up a supervisor and was placed on hold forever. The call dropped and no call back. Overnight both my accounts were cancelled. I have been working with their corporate solutions but nothing to my satisfaction so far. The culture at SXM does not appear to be good. Do better SXM...You are no longer relevant.

I had SiriusXM my whole life, until today. When I billed $360 in November for a 21/2 subscription. Well it stopped working yesterday. I called in to their service dept. I had my email confirmation and Credit card statement showing they billed me and it was paid in full. I got nothing but a run around today from the service dept. Saying they not recognize of the bill being paid. After 2 hours of messing around and showing proof. I said I'm done talking. I called the Credit card and turned Sirus xm in. Will never do business with them again.. Worst service I have ever dealt with.

I have been a loyal customer for more than 5 years while prices were somewhat decent. I typically pay annually, $5 a month and expressly stated not to enroll in automatic payments. I noticed a monthly charge of $25/month and was told it's the 'systems' fault. Upon trying to cancel the next thing out of their mouth is we can do it for $5.99/month moving forward. No, you have been stealing $300/year from me with no other excuse other than it's the 'system's' fault!!! Piss off!

Blah,, Blah,, Blah!! Sirius advertises, (no commercials). But every music channel has someone talking. I'm not big into sports, so why are they telling me about sports on the 70s channel. There's sports channels for that. I don't care who won a guitar in the 60s. They have talk channels for this. I just want to hear music. That's what I pay for. I can listen to some local radio stations and hear talking.

I pay for this to listen to music, not these Dj’s talking. I listen to 4 channels and often I’ll switch to to hear them all talking and no music. I’m sick of them and their commercials promoting other channels and talking about their experiences!!

10+ yr customer. Unable to get higher # channels due to age of vehicle and radio for house. Customer service? HA! They tell me to get app. DO NOT WANT app. I want spa and deep tracks channel back. There were no other channels like these. Rock channels play same 2 songs by same 10 artists. Spa was one of a kind relaxing music to doze or meditate listening to, as there were no spoken words. There is no other channel like this. The worship music that replaced it is atrocious, loud, and obnoxious.
The car Sirius fades in and out around town, and is only consistent on interstate and highway travel. The house radio (an older roadster) is great but I listened to the Spa channel to sleep and read books to as it was/is conducive to those activities. I might as well get You-tube music if I'm forced to have an App to listen to my choices in music. Yes I am an older listener but I have the means and money to listen to my choice of services. I guess Sirius may not be it anymore.

I traded vehicles. I called to transfer my service to the new car, thinking my current subscription to Sirius would continue after the free trial. In past that is how the transfer was handled, when I changed vehicles. Today Sirius refused to transfer my current service unless I agreed to a new contract. My current subscription would expire in July 2026. I expressed my concerns to no avail. Today was the worst customer service I have ever had from Sirius.

We had Sirius on my car and my husbands. I never listen to it because it is not very easy to use and my husbands car radio is broken so he doesn't either. We were being charged $42/month! I went on my app to cancel and they said I had to cancel online. I then canceled online and they offered me a new offer - when I said no they said I had to cancel with chat. I got an auto chat who asked me for all my information and then gave me another offer and when I said no they said I had to cancel with a live chat. The live chat came on and he told me to be patient because he has other chats going on simultaneously. He asks me for all the same information I had already provided and then he gives me another offer! I told him no more offers and to cancel immediately - he responded by saying he would cancel in 30 days after I paid another $42. Wow, just wow!

We've been customers for many years. Yesterday we called to renew our subscription for our 2 vehicles. We paid 120.00 for 1 yr last year. That was a promotion price. Yesterday they wanted over 200.00. That is ridiculous and we cancelled yesterday. They billed me a monthly charge today after I had cancelled. When I called today for a refund they repeated my conversation back to me all except the part where I told them to cancel it. And then tried to sell me a new plan and not letting me talk until I yelled and told her to shut up and cancel.

I've had this for many many years in both of my cars. This year I have been put on disability and have a set monthly income. I wanted to suspend my service until I could get it paid, but the service person I talk to said it would be OK if I paid it when I got paid. I was fine with that. A week after the initial customer service call, another customer service person got a hold of me and I explained to them the same situation. They said it was fine and that it was marked on my account. Less than a week after that I started getting calls from them every other day to try to fix the account. I finally gave up and said cancel it. I'm done. You would think after years of service and one single little problem, they would have understood. Apparently not.

Sirius XM would not allow me to cancel so I had to cancel my credit card to get these guys off my back. Be careful with this service...once in, there's no getting out. I haven't used in a long time but they only want that monthly payment.

Starting in Oct 2025 (my current plan expires 1/7/2026) I started receiving notices that my payment card on file was declining. First these are emails, then I started receiving phone calls every other day about 2 weeks ago. I purposely left the information for an expired card linked to my account as SXM will try to charge a previously card even if I have "auto renew" turned off. This happens every single year in conjunction with the annual fee increasing. Finally today I answered the call and ask the CS rep to flag my account to stop the phone calls and emails, that I would make a decision prior to my renewal date of Jan 7th. She then started to proceed into the scripted pitch. I told her was not interested and would be hanging up, which I did.
Per other reviews, the repetition of the same play lists, every day, same time is becoming old and if it were not for the live news broadcasts, I would 100% cancel. Time for SXM to make some consumer focused changes and stop ripping off and harassing their current customers. Seriously doubt this will be seen by the SXM leadership team.

Cannot believe it isn't even New Year's day yet and they removed all the holiday music. Your politics are showing. Will keep this in mind when renewal date rolls around and I have to decide if I want to renew.

I recently got a free trial for Sirius XM with my car. After trying it a few times, I didn’t really like it (nothing bad with it, I just like other subscriptions better), so I decided to cancel it before I got any charges… It took me a while, I had to go from the app, to the website, where I had to login and verify my account with a code sent to my email, then with the radio number… Then it was hard to find where to cancel, but I did… Only to be asked why I wanted to cancel, then sent to chat to a bot asking me again why I wanted to cancel, which then sent me to a person to chat and ask me, for the third time, why I wanted to cancel (after asking me 2 or 3 questions to confirm my account, EACH TIME)…
When I thought it was over (I was already very frustrated), they send me a long text saying that my free trial was still active, and that I could cancel any time, plus a lot of other details, and then they asked me if I accepted those terms! (So, not cancelling now, after over 30 minutes trying, but having to do it all over again “any time” I want)… I had to insist several times, and I was about to just send a last message, when they finally sent me a confirmation that my account was cancelled. I don’t remember any subscription that was so hard to cancel.

I bought a new vehicle and have no interest in Sirius XM. They send me junk mail every.single.day. They won’t take my name off of the list because their system is always “down”. Then when I complained, he said, “we’ll do what we can to stop the offers from reaching you, but in three years from this date, it will start again”. What? Honestly - who still uses Sirius XM? It’s antiquated technology and fact that they still bombard you with actual paper junk mail is evidence of how outdated the company is. Seriously- who is still paying for this? Are there still Stern fans? He was relevant in the 80’s, desperate in the 90’s, repeating the same bits in the 00’s and now? Come on. Let this company just ready in peace already.

I just got a renewal notice for a service I haven't been able to access for 2 years. I asked for a refund. They wanted me to pay more to give them another try. Never once did they say they would refund the money I paid for nothing. To cancel, you have to chat with a robot and then are connected with an agent who tries over and over and over again to get you to stay with them even though you can't access the services at all. No matter how many times you say no, they keep trying. This is beyond frustrating. We should be able to be in control of what services we want and be able to cancel without all of the bs.

SiriusXM increased rate of service without sending notification of price change. When I called to cancel, I was informed they do not give refunds. I would not recommend them. You can stream music cheaper through other platforms.

When my subscription expired, they sent a signal that locked up my touchscreen so I could not access other radio channels and threw a service engine code up that said my shift services needed attention now. After I paid the ransom, the codes went away.
