The complaints below are just a few of the pages of anguished tales we've received from Blue Haven customers. If you are even thinking of building a pool, you owe it to yourself to read and ponder these accounts ... and to read the advice of a former pool salesman.

They charged us 12,000 for the first payment of a 43,000 job. This is in violation of California law. They did not check records of a sewer line at city recrds and permits. They broke the sewer line at dig. They are rude and unprofessional. They do not return calls. The national complaint 1-800 543-3883 only has voice message, and will not return calls. At this time of writing, we are trying to cacel the remaining work with them, and be reinbursed for the extra money we paid. They were here just one day, the excavation. We still have no phone calls returned. We always get the wrong person.

I contracted my pool May 1,2005 and it is now March 3,2006 almost one year later and my pool is a disaster. It was supposed to be 6 feet deep and it is around 4 foot 6 inches. I complained to them and it took them months to tell me I was stuck with it unless I wanted them to rip the pool out and start over. Ha, like I would want to help them drag this out any further. Then they had to re-do the tile in my pool twice due to the awful workmanship and it still looks like garbage.

I beg and plead to them to finish my pool and they just lie to me and tell me to wait. I don't ask for much just to finish my darn pool.
