stephany of glenmont, NY September 27, 2009 I purchased a DCC2000 coffee maker approx.6 months ago.One day,it just stopped working!! Sometimes the clock and buttons lite up,but it doesn't brew.Sometimes when plugged in,it does NOTHING!I paid 100.00 for this piece of garbage!I thought cuisinart was a good name.NEVER AGAIN!!! T of Goodview, VA September 27, 2009 The DCC 2000 Cuisinart coffee pot just stops working. I spent 100.00 on what I thought was a better coffee pot and I guess I should have stayed with Mr. Coffee... I wont be purchasing another Cuisinart product. It seems to me that a lot of people are having problems, maybe there should be a recall on your product Cuinart?????? Linda of Tallahassee, FL September 17, 2009 I bought the cuisinart coffee marker series 70604c model. It's the model without the carafe, just put a cup under, pull down lever and coffee comes out. It began leaking water from the back almost immediatly. Always a puddle under the maker. I once saw a man looking @ the same coffee maker in a store anmd I began to tell him not to buy it and he told me he already had one and his leaked also. My maker is now leaking coffee out of the serving area. So I have just purchased a new coffee maker after less than 3 yrs because I'm tired of dealing with it. My new one is not a cuisinart. I'm not going down that road again. I would expect a 90 coffee maker to be better quality and last a long time Chad of Chicago, IL September 3, 2009 My Fiance' bought me a brand new Cuisinart DC-2000 coffee maker for my birthday almost 2 years ago. Never really had any problems with it until this morning when I went to brew my coffee, it just stopped working. I'm not one to expect appliances to last for 20 years, but I mean for a really nice maching that was valued at over 100, I would expect to get more than 2 years out of the machine! Robert of fresno, CA September 3, 2009 we recived the cuisinart model#dcc2000 as a christmas gift in 2008. coffee maker does not work anymore. lasted a whole 8 months. I know my mother-inlaw paid over a 100.00 dollars for this cuisinart. I do not know what to do are who to contact. Kathy of Flanders, NJ September 2, 2009 Well this about the Cuisinart coffee maker DCC-2000. This is the fourth pot I have been through. Always the same problem, it just stops working. The first three were replaced no problem. This last one they won't replace because they base the warrenty on the original unit, which is four years ago. That doesn't seem fair to me. I paid over 100 for the original unit and have had to have it replaced three times. That's rediculous. I will never buy anything Cuisinart again. They know this unit is a problem so they should take it out of production. I know two other people that have the same unit and the same problem. What can I do to get my coffee maker replaced? Grisela of Bogart, GA August 31, 2009 I purchased a Cuisinart 10-cup Automatic Grind and Brew coffeemaker. Serial #71105h Model #DGB300. It lasted less than one year when the grinder quit working. I called Cuisinart and they sent me a new one after paying a 10 shipping charge. Now the second one has failed with the same problem. I paid 100 for a faulty coffee maker and 10 in shipment for a replacement. My mother has the exact same coffeemaker and she is on her THIRD one! This coffeemaker is DEFECTIVE and should not be sold or used as a replacement! I will never purchase any Cuisinart product. Kim of Lorain, OH August 27, 2009 Purchased a Cuisinart Blender approx 3 years ago. Only used it MAYBE 12 times in three years. Turned it on and it sounded weird and then acrid white smoke poured from base as motor burned up. Emailed Cuisinart multiple times. They want me to pay to ship it both ways so they can "fix" it. I won't do it. This is a substandard product and they should back it up, but no one in "customer service" wants to hear anything about Cuisinart taking care of this. If I want this thing fixed, I have to pay. Needless to say I am done with Cuisinart forever. I will send some additional letters to company executives though, letting them know my displeasure. elizabeth of coralville, IA August 22, 2009 I purchased the coffee maker Model # DCC 2200 approximately one year ago. I make 1 pot of coffee about 4 out of 7 days per week. I spent a lot of money because of the Cuisinart name and I wanted it to last. One morning it just stopped working. I believe the maker should last for a good many years considering it only makes 1 pot of coffee 4 out of 7 days. I have read on line the same complaints with the same model number. I think it should be recalled and allow me to return it to the store that I purchased it and not be told to send it back at a cost to me. I will not purchase any product again from Cuisinart and I will not recommend that anyone else does either. Clare of Stratford, CT August 18, 2009 Received a Cuisinart DCC2000 Coffee Maker as a Christmas present. Warranty was for 3 years and it stopped working after 2. Just quit working. So I returned it to the company paying 10 dollars shipping and they sent me a new unit. Well after 1 year, the second unit quit just like the first. Called them and they said the new unit is covered under the OLD warranty so it is out of warranty. NEVER WILL I BUY ANYTHING CUISINART AGAIN. Report Your Experience
