    Home Depot 4106 Hwy 20/26 Idaho. I rarely write reviews. This Home Depot was so impressive yesterday. The paint department had qualified people for deck stains and really took some time. We bought the stain and the whole transaction was flawless and very efficient to people's time. I am not a fan of no one to assist at checkout. They had two people that stepped up immediately to help or just thank you for choosing Home Depot. Not overwhelming just available and would do whole check out if you needed that. This kind of service will put other stores on notice. Everyone wants efficient, kind service. Well done Home Depot>.

      Talked with associate Thomas about filter for my A/C. He took over to where the filters was. Explained to me about the different types.       I visited the Store in Hialeah Florida off Lejune Road. When I walked the Store the ** Lady name that Starts with Al was useless because I asked her for the lady that Sits at the Pro-Desk and her reply was she didn’t know where this lady was, and she and some of the others on the phones, speaking Spanish and on the Phone while I sat at the Desk and waited and it took a while, so I asked the young lady Mrs. ** and she got on the speaker phone and located the person I needed to speak with. Great Job ** and some of the others that was speaking Spanish to each other and wouldn’t help should go back to Training and probation. I would recommend the Store because Of **.

      Team would not connect the water line on new refrigerator, they said it was 3 inches too short, I explained to the tech there was extra line under the sink that they just had to pull it a little, they said they could not, we didn't pay for that service. Unbelievable Lazy.

      Home Depot showed up with my new dryer. They were suppose to pickup the old dryer which I paid for and switch the door to a left swing. They did not take the dryer and told me they did not know how to switch the door. Called home depot and they said a team would come in 4 days with a window of 4 hours.

      Last year I was planning to ride my Harley cross country. Every once in a while I had problems starting my bike so I went to Home Depot and purchased a battery starter pack. It was 109 or 119. I can't remember exactly but it was more than I wanted to spend. But I got it any way and I'm having trouble with it holding a charge and I found it online for 44.99 say 45.00 dollars. I feel like I was screwed. I am always willing to pay a bit more for an item someone has made the investment in adding to the inventory but over half price. I will no longer be so quick to run to home depot that carry it for 79.00 now. Wish I waited one year. I'm very unhappy home depot.

      I am updating the review. It went to a 5, and only because of an employee at the store, who went and got a box truck to deliver my bricks to me! Every time I called in and he looked and he was like wow you've called in a lot and I said yes I have and I keep getting the same response that it's coming we promise it's coming and this is day three. So he took it into his own hands and made sure I got my items. The kid deserves a raise!

      If you order something from Home Depot and you want it quickly don't order it from home depot. I ordered some concrete edging and it was to be the delivered that same day and it wasn't. I called customer service the next day, and then they said, "Oh it's going to be delivered today. But if you don't get it between 10:00 and 2:00 call us back." At 4:00 I called and spoke to a very rude customer service person who said, "Well we have till 8:00 and you'll get it. It's on the the truck. I can see it."

      At 8:20 I called and spoke with a yet another person who said, "Yeah you can't see when the product is on a truck," it would show me, so the other person had been lying. Then I was cut off from the customer service person. I called back three times and was hung up on and then I got a text message, "Oh I can help. Give me your ID," so I did. "Oh it's going to be delivered tomorrow." I said, "How can you guarantee that?" "Because it's in our system." Big deal. Tthat means nothing. So I've already spent two days waiting for a truck and now I have to wait again tomorrow. It's just some bricks! Oh, and I tried calling the store. No one would answer the phone and I called a couple times. And I think it was about 3:30 p.m. Don't think they closed that early. Not good Home Depot.

      I bought a generator and it was delayed being delivered. It has now been 12 days with no delivery date and they will not cancel the order. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

      Hired this contractor through Home Depot for gazebo and pool-related work at my home. While portions of the work were completed, my experience was ultimately very disappointing due to communication issues, scheduling delays, and incomplete work. The contractor changed arrival times multiple times, missed agreed return dates, and the gazebo was left unsecured/unanchored to the concrete footing despite that being part of the agreed installation. This created a safety concern that I now have to address separately.

      In addition, pool work was started but left unfinished, with materials and components exposed in the yard without a confirmed completion date. Although we eventually reached a financial settlement to avoid further dispute, I was disappointed by the overall professionalism, project management, and quality of completion. I would encourage future customers to ensure all scope details, completion expectations, and safety-related installation requirements are clearly documented in writing before work begins.

      Home Depot is a massive, one-stop shop for home improvement, tools, and construction, however they frequently do not have items which their online system indicated as available. Once a Customer has put their online order through, there are constant modifications stating that this item, that item is not available, resulting in a severally modified order resulting in the receipt of a orders that does not meet the Customers needs. This time around I decline the order. To be told by HD Customer Service Reps that it will take 3-5 business days for funds to be credited back to the Customer's Account.

      Sadly and unfortunately HD does not have much competition in the Ottawa area, so Customer just have to tolerate their sheer incompetence. Makes for very poor Customer Service in my book. Their online system is not Customer friendly, outright terrible, and can use a serious and complete overhaul. This all leads to frustration for the Customer, and loss of business for the Home Depot.

      I needed a smoke detector for a survey on Friday the 22nd. I ordered what I needed from Home Depot on Wednesday the 20th because it stated next day delivery. Today the 22nd I received an email from Home Depot that stated my deliveries very was delayed and “Delayed deliveries typically arrive within 1–3 days”. I contacted Home Depot to cancel the order. Home Depot refused to cancel the order and told me I would have to return the purchase. I then went to Walmart and bought what I needed. Home Depot lies, does not stand behind its sales so should be considered unreliable. Go anywhere else

      After dealing with online services, or lack thereof, I believe this will be my last purchase online from HD. It's not worth the activation. It would be worth spending a few dollars more to get the product delivered in a timely manner. Good luck with your purchases.

      Refunds and returns work well. You can easily find staff, just walk around and you will find clusters of orange aprons talking amongst themselves. Finding a straight piece of lumber is challenging. The stacks of lumber are picked through; I suppose most professionals want straight lumber. I walked up to check out with 3 10-foot pieces of lumber. A checkout line light was on; nobody was attending it. Two associates were chatting to my left. One associate was chatting behind me. A cashier was checking out a large order to my right. The Pro checkout had one employee facing me for the 5 minutes I was standing there holding my lumber, he never said a word.

      Finally, a customer finished self checkout and a pro-cashier, who could not see me before, flagged me over. She apologized for the wait. I expressed my concern that home people has a lot of people standing around ignoring customers. It is tough to be older and remember when Home Depot had excellent service and decent lumber.

      I purchased a dryer. The 5 year warranty cost me $150.00. Called the store because my dryer was broke to get it fixed. The woman at customer service told me I was S.O.L.. Finally got a hold of Allstate Protection Plan and the scheduled an appointment for me and the Technician never showed up. I took a day off of work and lost a good some of money. If you're willing to risk all the things I have had to go through, and countless hours on the phone, with people giving me the run around, this place is for you.
