August of San Bernardino, CA May 27, 2009

Last year at the end of the year my husband bought me a beautiful patio set 7 piece table and chair as well as a bar set with bar stools. To my complete disappointment the bar stools broke as well as the two swivel chairs, in less than two months. The night they broke I threw a party, and four of my guests fell right down to the floor. One of my guests suffered a broken arm I was very upset by this.

To even make this worst I can't buy something I should not have to buy by itself i am told that I would have to rebuy the sets again. If I have to re-buy the sets it is going to cost me about 900.00 for both. All I want is for the bar stools and the two swivel chairs to be replaced. Edited Com

Went to buy cub cadet mower for 3500.00 picked out mower went to cashier to pay her.Wrote a company check for 3500.00 cashier put it in machine, then she said i need to call this 1-800 # to verify who i was,i had driver lis, s/s card ect. Then lady on phone told they could see i had plenty money in my bank account to pay for mower but could not take my check for this purchase, because she did not know me.

This is really unbelivable last week i purchased 800.00 worth of products on my debit card same account, what's the problem. I have been buying from home depot since they arrived in texas. On any giving year i will spend around 40,000.00 to 50,000.00 per year in home depot stores. I do special projects for all kinds of groups and business spending there money and mine in home depot stores. I believe someone needs to look into what happen on 5-13-09 at katy store south, because i was treated very poorly. I will not step foot in a other home depot store, will start trading with lowes.

I purchase the Blue Ember grill from Home Depot a little over a year ago. It works great with one tremendous problem; the heat shield and grease holder corroded to pieces. I have not been able to locate a replacement for these items. I contacted Blue Ember and numerous companies on the internet, but none have the replacement parts. Blue Ember states the warranty has expired and will not replace. I offered to purchase the part, but they will not respond to voice messages or emails. As I said the grill is very good, but don't expect any help or assistance from the company. I now have a 500 stainless steel grill that cannot be used. (note:The heat shield allow the open flames to heat the hoses and propane tank...very dangerous)

On February 22, 2007 I contracted with Home Depot Installations from the Kanata Canada store for a double level (2 floor) Sunroom to be built on back of my house. Home Depot used a service provider Mr.Dennis W of Vue Soluriums to do the installation. Through the entire process, there was many issues, one being that on July 7,07 the contractr started construction finaly even though he didn't have city permits to do so. This was a two level solurium, Believe or not he started the job from the top then did the bottom ! The product was from Temo Sunrooms, which we assumed was a very highest quality.

The construction took over two years and in the building plan we recieved, many changes were made to original drawings that we were originally sold on. The lower level room was to have higher quality triple pain windows and insulation in floor and ceiling, plus special window transit top and bottom to let the light in. They ended up having to put a big metal steel I-beam in the wrong place which they covered with wood, but blocks the view from those top transit windows.

The bigest problem is still an on going issue is they did not put the proper flashing attachments to the roof so there is water leaking into the top sunroom and progress'd down through the insulated floor to lower level room. Home Depot have considered this to be a condinsation issue and have closed the file and are expecting final payment for the job. However to date when it rains I have wetness on my floor in second level and they refuse to do anything about this. I have retained legal service however this is very costly and can not believe that a company of this size doesn't care about its costumers. This is a great deal of money for this job and I am totally not satisfied, I can not even put final flooring down in the room because of all the water issues.

So much Stress its making me not sleep at night. The total cost of room was 34,462.00 we paid out to Home Depot already 19494.10 , and still they are sending collections after me for 14967.90, plust the legal fees I have incured already of 700.00 and nothing has even happend to help us yet.

Purchase a 10x10 Arrow Gazebo about 6 weeks ago. We should have been warn about this gazebo that is will not hold up in winds. Now I have a pile of junk in my backyard. No help from Home Depot plus they charge 80 dollars for delivery and we were only 6 miles away.

Loss of money and how to get rid of it now. I wish they would pick up their piece and dump it for me. Free of charge.
