Purchase LG electric stove Model # LRE 30451SB, Oct. 2007. Nov/Dec 2008 oven would not maintain temperature. Changed thermistat and control board on Mar. 7, 2009. Worked fine until April 16, 2009 when we self-cleaned the oven. The control board went haywire. Can't broil, use convection oven, use numbers 2 & 7 on the keypad, set clock. The heat from self cleaning is so hot and close to the control board that it must damage the board.

Damages: the cost of the stove 647.19, sales tax 54.20, thermistat 20.00, control board 136.20. Grand total 857.59. Not to memtion labor, delivery and restaurant meals. This stove should be recalled. Stove is not working. More meals.

We too purchased an LG range and since the day that we got it, it has never cooked say a frozen pizza in a decent amount of time. Takes over 25 minutes, way longer than it should. We have replaced the control board once and will probably now have to replace it again. I will be calling Best Buy to get a service person out here. This totally stinks due to the fact that we paid good money for this range and it matches all of our other appliances.

I purchased an LG range and the warranty has expired. The duel surface element burned out and I ordered a new element on Feb.6 through MCM appliances ( LG does not ship directly to individuals) the person told me it would arrive in a week. It is now the 13th and no element. I called MCM and wass told they are still waiting for Lg to send the part to them. I will not buy an LG appliance again if I cannot get parts for them

Purchased LG Suite @ Home Depot in Enfield, CT 2/14/08. Since then, they have REPLACED the Dishwasher, Microwave, and now the Range is broken. Tried self cleaning and apparently where the heat is vented from the stove, is directly below the motherboard and melts it. Service repair states it will be 5 days till they can get a replacement. In addition, the Energy Star rating on our French door is incorrect and LG will send us a check for 30 for the next 12 years for the extra energy consumption of this Energy Hog!

Purchased new stove along with a Fridge, and washer and dryer. Everything is fine except stove is a menace. Had a complete new control panel installed when only six months old, now it is haywire again. called the warranty repair (kelowna Appliance) They came out and the thing was O.K. on its own. Now the thing is acting up again, oven won.t work, neither will the large burner. and one cannot control the oven heat when it does work.

When we first purchased the thing, we asked if we could not get another stove but they did nothing or would not. We have put an extended warranty on it which cost a lot to protect ourselves, but it is a lousy stove. We wish we had bought anything but this thing. Is there anything one can do, as my wife is getting fed up?
