We purchased the TROMM front load washer and dryer 2 years ago brand new. The washer has a horrible mildew and mold smell and the rubber gasket is moldy and impossible to clean and it will not drain. I hate it. The dryer does not dry the clothes. You have to continually keep resetting the dryer until your clothes are dry. It is a real waste. HATE THEM!!! Big fault in the design - especially the washer.

CLothes stink and I need to use more water to rewash, and more electricity to keep trying to dry my clothes.

Bought LG Washer and Dryer set a few years ago. Has mold and slime that grows inside the seal of the washer door. I am 56 years old and have just recently started allergy, sinus and coughing problems. Just had sinus surgery. After reading all the reports on this machine it makes me wonder if this is my problem.

I purchased the LG TROMM washer/dryer last year. It's a horrible sour/mold smell in the laundry no matter how much I wash, what I use. It's hideous and ruining my social life. I contacted the NJ BBB last spring with this issue and they sent someone to clean it and also replace the electronics as it would stop working altogether inexplicably. I still have times when it won't start but usually after a little time passes it does. However, the smell is still there!

I thought I was losing my mind...now that I read that everyone else with this product has the same issue I realize it's not me or something I'm doing or not, it's this product! This is unacceptable. The clothes take an hour to wash on a normal cycle, as they call it. My parent's takes 14 minutes on super wash cycle! And, nothing EVER dries. No matter how much you try. Why isn't anyone doing anything about this? I want a refund to buy a product that actually cleans and washes clothes...is that unreasonable?

I have thrown away thousands of dollars worth of clothing, bedding, towels, you name it...because the smell won't wash out! I had hives from trying Borax. I had hives from trying other detergents. The mold smell wafting out of my dryer has caused sinus issues. This is so wrong. I can't believe no one is doing anything about this.

We purchased the LG Tromm front load washer and dryer and have had continual mold and slime issues with the washer. I have to wipe the door off with an antibacterial wipe all the time as well as try to clean the slime out of the front of the door groove. The washer also shakes so bad that clothes move right off onto the floor if they are sitting on the top of the washer. For the amount of money paid for this washing machine i expected excellence and we have been very dissatisfied!
