Purchased an LG front load washer and have had mold/mildew problems from the start. We purchased the washer and dryer at HH Gregg. The store sent a repairman numerous times to try to repair this problem. I was told to clean the seal with a rag once a month - removing the terrible black mold buildup on the seal. To run vinegar in the machine, run the sanitary cycle, leave the door open, etc. I've tried all these things and numerous others with no correction to the problem.

Our towels SMELL like a dead animal when they are used after bathing - once they get damp. I would love to mail one of these foul smelling towels to an LG representative and ask them how they would like to dry off with it? I would love to run over my dryer with a seam roller - like the one in the LG advertisement. I plan to purchase a new washer as a Christmas present to myself and you can guarantee it won't be a front load washer!!

We bought the LG front loader set a couple years ago. The washing machine has mold and smells like mildew. It makes all the clothes stink. We have tried Bleach and Vinegar and still it smells. The Dryer does not dry the clothes properly. We have to keep turning it on again and again to get towels and jeans dry. We hate this set and wish we could replace it with something else, but can not afford to replace them. Is there a recall on these?

Instead of being energy saving, I have to was the clothes two or three times to get them clean. And dry them for over an hour to get them dry. That doesnt sound like energy and water efficient to me.

Expensive LG Tromm Front Load Washer stinks.

We have used the HE detergent since day one and the mold build up and smell have been awfull. Leaving the door open and using bleach do not solve the problem. Lg should be made to fix the problem or give back monies spent. The health ramifications of the mold and mildew has been increased allergy and respitory problems for my family. How many complaints do these companies need before they fix things.
