Randi of Boca Raton FL writes (6/19/01):
It didn't fit, so I returned it in early January. It seemed to have gotten "lost" in the mail, but about 6-8 weeks later, my mother-in-law received a call at my house from a woman at American Enterprises who said they had found my package. $121.95 was charged to my Visa card in December. I have never received a refund. I have placed at least 10 calls and sent one email to the company, leaving messages for Augustine (or anyone) to please call me back. Nobody has returned a single phone call. The number on the web site (www.mini-bidet.com) goes to a message center. They will not give out another number to call. When we mailed the package back, we forgot to get a return receipt, so we do not have proof that is was actually mailed otherwise I would have simply gotten Visa to stop the payment. Is there anything I can do? As a practical matter, there's not much Randi can do. She should have disputed the charge with her credit card company immediately and she should have insured the package and gotten a receipt. Report Your Experience
