Carl of Locust Fork AL (5/20/03):
I have a Murray self-propelled fairly new lawnmower. It's a 22-inch and has a 4.5hp engine. The belt that makes it a walk-behind mower wear out very quickly. I have no idea what to do about it. Right now I have to use it as a push mower. Being that I'm not a young fella I did want a walk-behind mower.

Gene of Old Hickory TN (8/11/03):
Same complaint as a prior individual, I am replacing the motion belt on a model 30500x92a mower and have had to completely disassemble it to do so. Both the upper and lower belts wear out entirely to quickly and replacing them is a major event. Poor, poor engineering design, I will never buy another Murray product.

Damage Resulting: Blood pressure over the top.

Mike of Grand Junction CO (4/21/03):
Model 38500x92a to change the motion belt requires you to disassemble the mower, a job that has taken me 6 hours, and I'm not finished yet! BEWARE if you plan to buy one! I'd like to have a word with the dumb*** that engineered it.

Samella of Lithonia GA (7/21/03):
I bought a self-propelled mower March 2002. The self-propelled went out in Apr 2002 and now again in Jun 2003. I have used my mower all of 6 times. This is ridiculous.
