Pur Water Filters

I have purchased 2 of these units (FM9400/FM9500)and they developed leaks about 2 months after use, I thought it was my fault so I bought the 2nd unit and the same thing happened to it, I'm at a loss to what to them except a manufacturing defect. I can't afford to keep buying these units, I'll look to see if I can find something better to use. This is something somebody needs to look into that they are selling inferior products.

Consequently I won't buy your product in the future, I can't afford them.

In the last two years I have purchased three Pur vertical faucet filters, all three have leak water at the seam and one of them did not filter water. These PUR filters are JUNK!!!!

This is now six of this Pur filter units that I have bought and every one of them last about 6 to 8 months. They have all borken at the housing and the gasket also fails. I peronaly like the filtered water but they have a design flaw. I would like a phone number to Pur so that I can get them to replace and fix the defect. Ialso have lost filter which every time they go bad. Please help!

The filters are costly and yet every twice a year I've had to buy a new unit. I think it's an aditional 150.00 more per year that Pur profits off Me. Physicaly other than a shower at the sink, no real damage yet. I replace the unit at My expence at this point of break down of the filter unit.

I recently purchased a new Pur 3 stage vertical water filtration system at Walmart to replace a Pur 3 stage horizontal system that we had for about two years that started leaking badly and was falling apart.So we are just on our first fiter and a couple of nights ago I notice it is leaking out of the little display window at the top of it. So I figure maybe it is time to change the filter and I did, but it is still leaking. So we are getting unfiltered water running in our glass right along with the filtered water.

I went to their website to complain about it and ask them to send me a new one, and I filled out an online survey, and then I read a statement written by them telling me about how much I mattered to them as a customer, and I would be hearing back from them right away. Well it's going on three days tomorrow and I have yet to hear any reply from them and they have both of my email addresses, my home phone#, and my cell phone#. Now I am mad at them and I want this made right!

My family is having to drink unfiltered water right now, because of this, and our water is terrible where we live.

bought the Pur water filter system for the faucet and used it for about less than six months. The water pressure build up caused my faucet to leak from the handle pull and at the neck. After the repairs were made to the faucet, water filtration system started to develop leaks at the nozzle and at the turn dial. these are leaks that spray sideways instead down at the sink. This product quality is very poor and would NOT recommend this to anyone.

Because of the water pressure build up from the pur faucet system my faucet develop leaks at every crevice, and eventually my water leaked through the sink from the base of the faucet. Now i have water damage inside the sink cabinet.
