Very bad experience. I placed an order and received no support at all. I contacted them multiple times and was completely ignored. There is no proper return process, and once they take your money, they don’t respond. This feels like a scam. Be very careful before buying from this company.

Almost 2 months ago I ordered a 20 piece set of Interlocking Pyrex glass storage from the manufacturer. They were quickly delivered and left by my front door by the shipper. When I picked up the package it was obvious it contained broken glass. I contacted customer service and for the past 6 weeks I have tried to get anyone to replace them. I have sent multiple photos as requested. I had to stick my hand inside a box with shards of glass so they could see the damage. My inquiries and requests have been ignored.

Today I wasn't told I was asked to return the box. NO address no saying they would reimburse me "just return it " I was not even told they would then replace it. So now I am done. I paid $50 for half a seat of pyrex. This is the worst customer service ever. No way to call them just a customer service email every time. If you must sue Pyrex go to COSTCO. The Correll company itself is not going to offer you a customer service help. Better yet try Rubbermaid.

I paid for a 4 piece quart size containers and only received 2. Unfortunately, I did not take a photo after the delivery. This company does not have a phone number for customer service. I will next file a Consumer Fraud complaint against Pyrex (Corelle) with the Oregon Attorney General's Office.

I have three small pyrex bowls with red plastic lids that have deteriorated. When I asked the company to replace them they told me I had to supply the time and place of purchase. I didn't have either so they wouldn't replace them. They are a lousy company with terrible customer service.

If I could go zero I would but they have no option for such thing. I was baking with this dish today and went to check on it and when I grabbed it out of the oven (with a dry towel) it exploded burning me with the contents in the pan. This is completely unacceptable and since I have 3rd degree burns on my arms, legs, and face I want something done!!!!

Last night my Pyrex glass pan exploded in the kitchen. Within 10 seconds of taking it out of the oven. It was like a bomb went off, shattering into pieces. It was crazy and scary! These need a recall. I don’t understand why they are still available to buy and use. Extremely dangerous!!!

I've used Pyrex for years and have now had an issue happen twice. Two times now I have had Pyrex explode on me in the oven at 400 degrees... Pyrex claims to be safe at this temp in the oven but is not. This product is absolute garbage!!!! I just smashed and threw around twelve pieces of this garbage where it belongs....DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE!!!! IT'S OVERPRICED TRASH AND NOTHING MORE!!!

Pyrex needs to come with a warning! I'm a 60-something who has cooked with Pyrex her ENTIRE LIFE!!! In fact, I still have some of my grandmother's Pyrex, that up until today I would still be using. The problem piece was a green 9x13 baking dish that I was using to roast tomatoes. 5 minutes in the 350° oven caused the dish to explode. Because there was olive oil lightly coating the tomatoes it in turn caused a fire in my oven.

I was not injured and with quick thinking shut the oven off and grabbed a bag of baking soda to put the fire out. My whole house could have gone up!! The only reason I decided to leave this review is because when I researched this I found out there are HUNDREDS, if not THOUSANDS of complaints relating to this problem. News to me!!! I live near Corning Glass so not only am I upset this happened to ME, but there are countless others who clearly have made Corning aware of the potential for their glass to explode. They need to be held accountable. I, for one, will be throwing all my pyrex in the garbage before anyone gets seriously injured.

If I could give it a zero I would! I bought a deep 9x13 Pyrex dish last year and have maybe used it twice before it exploded and ruined Mother's Day this year. I pulled the dish out of the cupboard and put some sautéed vegetables in the room temperature pan on the counter while I cooked the meat. Maybe two minutes later it exploded all over the kitchen ruining everything that was already prepped. I had not pulled the pan from the oven or fridge it was room temp and exploded.

I had a glass sliver in my leg, thankfully my mom was okay but it flew all the way across the kitchen and dining room. And now I try to log back into their website so I can start a claim and it doesn't show my order because everything is through "shopify" now and they have no record of my purchase. Would not recommend to anyone, even my worst enemy as this brand is not what it used to be and has gone downhill! If I buy glass bakeware again it will only be made from borosilicate glass which is what pyrex used to be made from when it was actually good.

I used a 9 x13 Pyrex baking dish to warm sliced ham. I had added a little brown sugar and chunk pineapple. I was using a 300 degree oven. It had been in the oven about 20 minutes. The dish exploded. Luckily it was before I opened the oven door to check on it.

We were cooking sweet potato casserole in the oven at 350* and about 5 minutes before it was to come out, the dish exploded in the oven. The dish didn’t undergo a temperature change. The casserole was under 400* and wasn’t even ready.

I have used Pyrex for a while now and have never had an issue. Until tonight, I cooked two pieces of Chicken in the oven at 400 degrees. The timer went off and I took the chicken out of the oven and placed it on the stove top. As luck would have it, I received a phone call and went to the other room to get my phone. Thankfully! In about two minutes I hear a loud bang as the dish exploded and shards of various size glass went flying everywhere in the room. Some landing on the floor, counter, stove top and everywhere else you couldn't even think glass should have gone. Had myself or my child been in that room we would have been seriously injured for sure!

Now, as a result I had no dinner and had to order out since there was glass everywhere and top that off with the fact the pieces of that hot baking dish that exploded landed on my floor and burnt the linoleum flooring. The flooring is only 10 months old, and this is a rental, so now I have to pay for damages to the floor. DO NOT TRUST PYREX BAKING DISHES they explode, I don't mean split or crack they literally explode!

Today, while baking a loaf of bread at only 350 degrees, my Pyrex baking dish broke and glass went everywhere. I’m so disappointed in this happening. I didn’t even have an extreme or any temperature change.

Had a dinner party, put a room temp pyrex baking dish full of Lobster Mac and Cheese in a 350 degree oven. After half an hour, I upped the temperature to 400 degrees to help brown the top. A few minutes later I heard a loud pop and I realized the pyrex had exploded in the oven! An enormous bummer on so many levels... The pound-a-half of lobster meat that can no longer be eaten, the hour of prep wasted, what to serve our hungry dinner guests now, and the massive clean up of my oven. Never again... just bought a set of Staub ceramic bakeware!

Similar story to others. Cooking au gratin potatoes in preheated oven using 9x13 pyrex baking pan per instructions. Several minutes later a loud bang from oven. An entire end of the dish had shattered with fragments all over oven. What remained had multiple cracks running through it. Oven was not usable until cooled and thoroughly cleaned. Have always trusted Pyrex in the oven... Now will always be leery.

We placed two pyrex pans of apple crisp in the preheated oven, somewhere in the baking process one of the glass pans exploded. Shards of glass all over the oven! One of the Pyrex pans was purchased nearly 17 years ago and that one was fine. The one that exploded we bought this year at Kohl’s.

Placed Pyrex glass casserole dish to bake casserole in oven. 5 min later a large boom and the Pyrex shattered in oven. Got burned on my fingers and small cuts on my hands as I opened oven. The baking casserole dish was oven safe. My whole dinner was ruined not to say as well as money wasted from grocery store. When I opened the oven after the heard the noise, the Pyrex dish was continuing to explode glass at me. Thank goodness none got on my face or eyes.

About 12 years ago, I removed two small Pyrex bowls from the dishwasher which just finished the dry cycle and was putting them in the cupboard. They were hot and due to the heat, I slightly dropped one bowl about an inch distance into the other bowl of same size which was in my hand. The bottom dish exploded into millions of bits of shards of glass and blew into my face and hand. 12 years later, I still have bits of glass working out to the surface of my chin. The bits of glass form small bumps under the skin surface and then work up to the surface rupture the skin leaving terrible sores that then weep tiny bits of glass residue for days/sometimes weeks. If this is hard to read, it is because it is as terrible as it sounds.

Some years ago I tried writing letters to Pyrex makers, writing reviews, contacting consumer advocates, etc, to no avail and have just lived with this. Checking again such reviews today, I see so many people continue to have problems with exploding Pyrex. I do not understand how this situation prevails and Pyrex continues to market a dangerous product. I was told I did not follow usage instruction. Who would think it is acceptable to have a product that would expose you to such danger by taking it out of dishwasher before it has cooled off to a certain temperature?

Beware people, do not remove Pyrex from your dishwasher when it is still hot. You could end up with your face scared and weeping glass for more than a decade and who know how long this situation will last… perhaps my entire life. Pyrex doesn’t care. Remove it from your house and then encourage everyone you know to avoid Pyrex. They protect themselves with a vague disclaimer on the bottom of their product. Not worth the risk.

I have used Pyrex many times over the years. Last night I was baking meatballs in a 350 degree oven in my 9x12 dish when my dog and I heard a loud bang! We went and looked inside the oven and sure enough, the dish had totally broken apart and into many large and small pieces of glass. There were even shards around the bottom of the oven. The particular Pyrex dish was rather on the newer side with longer side handles, as opposed to the older models with shorter handles and more depth to the dish. I knew they exploded years ago, but didn’t know this was still occurring! Won’t use this type of product again!
