    Hello, I would like to file a formal complaint regarding the 400 Series red vacuum cleaner. I currently own four units of this model, and all four stopped working after approximately one month of use. The issue is with the telescopic wand (extension tube), which fails and makes the vacuum unusable. Since this problem has occurred in all of my units, it appears to be a recurring defect rather than an isolated case. I need a replacement of the product or at least a replacement of the vacuum wand/tube so I can continue using the equipment. Please let me know the next steps to resolve this issue. Thank you.

    I am a senior citizen and the only user of this two year old Kenmore canister vacuum cleaner. I have previously had 2 Electrolux vacuums which lasted 25 years each that l loved. Cons: Plastic tops where tools are stored pop open all the time, filter back pops off frequently, floor brush and part of the hose attachment cracked, canister is very heavy and hard to maneuver, and now vacuum makes a very loud ear splitting high pitched whining noise when using any suction setting but the lowest. I live in a 1500 sq. foot single story condo. The noise is so loud my neighbors can hear it. Pros: cord retraction works beautifully (so far).

      I have a Kenmore Elite Aspirada vacuum. After 3 months the brush assembly kept falling off so I put a small screw to pin the keep the faulty clip in place. At 7 months the brush motor quit. Now they voided my warranty because I put a screw in to fix the shoddy design. Not only is it a bad design but a horrible company to deal with. It’s 10 months old and I have to throw it in the garbage.

      Do not buy from Kenmore, bad product and bad customer service. I received the vacuum and the carpet attachment never worked but I was able to vacuum wood floors. After a few months I called customer service and they told me to change the belts. I did this and it did not work so around 6 months ai called again and they sent me new carpet attachment that did not work with the vacuum. I called again before 12 months and the sent me a form to fill out to to be reviewed by the warranty team and I would possibly be sent a new vacuum. The form instructed me to cut the cord of my vacuum and provide information that I had already provided them multiple times.

      I had to call back because I had questions because I did not want to cut the cord if I was not guaranteed a new vacuum because I still used the vacuum for wood floors. The lady I spoke with said it was too late as it was past the 1 year warranty. They have all my conversations on record providing proof that the vacuum clearly never worked properly from the beginning but they dragged out all the issues giving me tasks to do instead of just standing behind their products. I have never left a bad review before but after all the calls and work to try to get my vacuum working correctly and to have them drag it out to be out of the warranty period is unacceptable. With technology we have today we could have jumped on a video call and they could have seen the vacuum not working and fixed it or sent a new one right away

      Kenmore Bagless Canister Vacuum DC5070 was ordered on February 19 and was received on February 25th (Please be aware the warranty starts from the purchase date not the date the vacuum is received). The beater brush in the vacuum head stopped working after only 3 uses on March 19th (which was just within the warranty period). I called customer services and was bounced around to different departments until someone was able to help me. It was determined that a new vacuum head was needed and I should receive it in about 3 weeks. This the only vacuum head that comes with this vacuum so I was without a functional vacuum while waiting for a replacement part. The vacuum head never appeared. I decided to cut my losses and buy a Miele which has turned out to be the best vacuum I've ever owned. I can not recommend a Kenmore Vacuum to anyone after my experience.

      I bought my vacuum on March 2024 and it is Garbage! It has completely stopped working! I hope I can stop anyone else from considering this purchase. I have used it around 10 times and I tried to use it today and it will Not turn on.

      Have owned two Kenmore vacuums and it is impossible to get parts. Last time I went through Sears parts warehouse and waited 5 months and part never showed up. Cancelled order. Local vacuum shop will not accept Sears Kenmore vacuums because they cannot get parts.

      I don't know what happened to Kenmore. I thought I couldn't go wrong. Mine were always wonderful and long lasting. I switched to Shark. We installed new carpet and I was in a hurry to get a new cleaner. I knew Kenmore had never let me down. This one did, Very little suction. The shortest cord and very hard to push or maneuver. And it wasn't cheap. I ended up going and getting a new Shark for about $5.00 more. NEVER AGAIN. Very disappointed in the quality down turn of this brand. What a waste of money.

      I researched vacuums for a while before choosing the Kenmore bagless upright. The reviews had nothing but good to say about it. It sounded like a good bet. First, I was not impressed with the cleaning. I cleaned the filters very often and it started to smell when I vacuumed. Then parts started to break or come disconnected. Now just over a year old it will not down to vacuum. It keeps popping up and you need to keep your foot on it to keep the base down. How could all of these great reviews to true? I can’t be the only one who is disappointed. I would not recommend this product to anyone and therefore I would not trust the Kenmore name.

      I purchased a canister vacuum model number BC 3060. The worst vacuum they ever made. It did not work. I called the customer service, they were rude, they said they were going to replace the hose until today January 15th no hose arrived at my home.

      This company is very disappointing. I first ordered a vacuum. They charged me and it’s more than two weeks and it still hasn’t come yet. They charged me so I have sent emails and two days and no reply back. I hope getting an update or give me a refund but I do not recommend this company but it’s good the first time but after making a few orders there’s no response or delivery but charge you.

      It is sensitive to dirt or dust. The light comes on to notify you and goes off when it is clear. When the bag needs replacement you are notified via a light too. It is lightweight and easy to handle.

      I have a Kenmore Elite, Model #125.31150610 I purchased approximately 5 years ago, and couldn't be happier! It has never broken down, and love how it leaves my carpet with that fluffy 3 rows look every time I vacuum. It is an upright vacuum and have to change the bags Old school style, but the bags aren't very expensive. I believe in reviews and did my research before purchasing my vacuum. It was reading reviews and the information gathering that helped my experience. Sharing my experience hopefully will help someone else make an informative decision also, Thank you..

      Most bang for your dollar. Controls are easy to use and understand, HEPA bags are very well made, but expensive. LED light is very helpful in low light areas and under furniture. This unit is on the heavy side, so if you're not a large person it will be difficult to carry around your home.

      I think you’re paying for the name. They work about the same as any of The other vacuums I’ve owned. I think they should have the option of putting getting more attachments or coming with more attachments.

      I've always had Kenmore vacuums, they are efficient, affordable, long life, and find bags easily. Instead of buying a vacuum brand that is trendy, it's important to stick with a solid and reliable brand such as Kenmore.

      Kenmore "ain't what she used to be". Paid $400 for Elite Crossover and sadly it is a heap of junk. So clunky and cumbersome to use. Doors fly open, one blows off the back, canister doesn't roll easily, always flips over. Kenmore used to be my trusted brand. It has changed drastically and not for the better.

      We’ve used this vacuum to its limits from sucking up tons of long hair being we have 3 females, to a female dog and then cars that have been cleaned, this product was worth the purchase, unfortunately sears is gone and I refuse to buy my vacuum online and currently need HEPA for health issues. Will more than likely go to Miele C or CX series. Price point is $600-$1000. We will see how they are, but we really loved our Kenmore while they were around.
