Horrendous! Bought the z54 Mustang less than a year ago and it has been nothing but trouble. Before we used it we woke up to the blades on the ground, which were already rusty. Customer service did nothing so we gave up calling and complaining. I asked how can I return this POS and an associate literally told me I should "donate" it...sure a $5k mower! This mower was the biggest letdown ever.

We purchased a Troy-Bilt lawn mower less than 1 year ago and it suddenly stopped working. We reached out to warranty and did everything they requested which took nearly 1.5 months just to be told they do not cover with the carburetor being replaced. A carburetor that needs to be replaced within 1 year of purchase?? We took good care of it. They are selling products with cheap parts and leaving customers holding the bag. We paid $65 for an initial diagnosis…Then drove 1 hour away to a service center THEY referred us to…Given a quote for another $85 and all they had to say is tough luck basically???? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

On top of that, they expect you to call THEM after emailing them all of the information that THEY requested…After one week we called to get an update to find out that didn’t even review it and that we were “supposed” to follow-up our email with a call to let them know that we sent it?! In what delusional world does this sound acceptable to as a company??? WE WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR PRODUCTS!!! Just awful!

I wish I could rate this mower in the negative digits. I bought a Troy-Bilt Z42 Mustang Zero Turn. It was ok the first couple months, then it started having issues out of nowhere. First issue was the tire coming off in the middle of me cutting. The whole nut just came out. Second issue was the drive belt not staying on. It's constantly coming off while in motion. It's a very big hindrance at times. Third the choke cable broke so I have to choke from the carb to start it. Fourth the coming off the block to start broke, had to rewire that. Fifth the carb went bad like the mower was years old.

Six, the starter went out and I had to buy one of those. Seven one of the spindle's on the deck just fell off, had to reattach that. Eight the tires that hold the deck up, the bearings wore out so the tires weren't rolling straight and started to destroy the yard whenever I needed to turn. Nine the deck started cracking in different places. Never hit a rock, tree stump or anything of that nature. It just started cracking. Ten the deck literally broke from the support bracket in the rear. Now I have a broken deck and new one cost $800. I spent roughly $5000 on a mower that only lasted a couple of year's. If I could sue I would. Please don't waste your money with this brand. They're pure garbage.

It's shame I can't give zero stars because that's what they deserve. I purchased a new Troy-Bilt edger from Menards. took it home and put it together added the oil and gas and then I tried to get it started. It wouldn't even turn over. After re-reading the instruction several times to make sure I was do everything correctly and many pulls of the handle it never even got started. I thought okay I will just return it and buy a different brand from someone else. NOPE; Menard's does take returns on anything you put gas into, without a return authorization number from the manufacturer.

The manufacturer "Troy-Bilt" won't give you a return number until you waste your time and money taking it to an Authorized Troy-Bilt service shop to have it diagnosed and possibly repaired as a Warranty repair. Don't try and call thier 1-800 number, no one will answer and if they do, don't worry you will get disconnected repeatably by them. Until at some point days later after you cuss everyone out you might get a phone call back, where they tell you we don't care how long it takes for a repair shop to look at and how you need to wait. Pretty much they are saying we call ready have your money and we don't care our policy says not our problem.

So after driving over 100 miles and spending 3 hours in the car trying to get this POS fixed, it's still broken and I going to keep documenting all my time and money spent trying to get this piece of garbage equipment fixed. Don't ever buy any Black & Decker products or equipment because they don't care about the customers

Just bought a Troy Bilt push gas mower today and I’m not going to lie to you guys, you charge wayyyy too much money for a standard issue mower with a bag. You’re kinda ripping people off, for this price, I should have at least a lawn mower that’s self-propelled. No, instead you charge 328$!!!!! This is WILD and OUTRAGEOUS!!! I don’t even know how you guys stay in business with prices like that. But hey, in the end it does get the job done, but with that price I’d never tell anyone to buy your mower, I’m sorry.

I have a Troy-Bilt TB110 push mower, TB30R rider mower and a Storm snow blower. This equipment has been in service for many years with no major issues. My advice is the following: always completely read the owners manual (correct assembly is critical), perform comprehensive maintenance at the end of every season, always use fuel stabilizer/carburetor cleaner/upper cylinder lubricant and operate the machinery with care and attention. This includes not hitting things with the mowers (be mindful of stumps, rocks and other hazards), not cutting grass that is too high with a single pass and cleaning the deck of all debris regularly.

Snow blowers are designed to throw snow and nothing else (don't rely exclusively on the shear pins!). Don't add too little or too much of correct viscosity full synthetic oil to the engine after the break-in with non synthetic oil (always check the dipstick!). Pump good quality grease into all zerks with the scheduled maintenance. A lot of what I have mentioned here is common sense and I hope that my review helps consumers moving forward with Troy-Bilt equipment.

Purchased the Troy Bilt Weed Trimmer. It leaks gas at the nozzle and thru the gas cap vents. Customer service sent a new gas tank and lid, which leaks too. "Customer Service" employees are terrible and corporate won't respond to emails or actual US mail. Amazing that they won't respond to a possible fire hazard and possible harm to Customer's. Absolutely ROTTEN to the care. I would give them a zero.

Tried to get a track drive wheel for a snow blower. They sent a part that they said will fit, it didn't. I tried talking to them on the phone that it was a wrong fit, was met with a, "Oh well."

Mower delivered on wooden platform. Secured by nailed in wood pieces so tightly I couldn’t remove them. I’m 72 years old. Nowhere on the order form from Troy built direct does it say you will need tools. I tried a pry bar but couldn’t get it underneath to remove. I complained the agreement doesn’t say you will need tools. His response was you just need to use a pry bar. Didn’t matter what information I gave him. Not too bright if you know what I mean. I told him the lack of information and his totally didn’t care attitude will cause me to look elsewhere for power equipment.

I bought my Troy-Bilt Storm 2410 snowblower in 2009 brand new. So it's 16 years old. I live in south western MI and we get the snow being by Lake Michigan. It has started every year for me with no problems. I've left treated gas in it and it's always started every year. This year it's really getting a workout. All I've ever done to it was change the oil and maybe put 2 spark plugs in it. I usually do our driveway and a few neighbors driveways when we get a lot of snow. I can't say enough about this machine. I know this spring I'm going to go all the way through it. It has never let me done and if I can get another 16 years out of it, it should out last me.
