I am having terrible difficulty contacting Whirlpool, the manufacturer. We are in Malta, EU and are entirely dissatisfied with the repair under warranty of our dishwasher. We want to complain to the actual manufacturer. Both about the appliance and about the incompetence of their authorized repair service here. Can you help me to find contact details please?

I purchased all new kitechen appliances by Jenn Aire. The dishwasher shed black rubber on the floor and smells of burning rubber during use. They have sent out 3 repair men.None have fixed. One ripped out the extra insulation I had paid extra for. Whirlpool states it does not effect the operation of the dishwasher. They had told me one more repairman, which I allowed and they would replace if they could not fix.

However now they say one more repair. I finally agreed after giving up 3 full days, each time the repairman called to say the part was broken, or not there, the day to be repaired. I phoned Whirlpool again, they are sorry this has been an inconvience but will not replace this dishwasher that no one can fix. They state this is their best repair service. The double convection oven has already had the main board go out. I would not recommend their products, but mostly because of their poor customer service.

Total of 6 days of waiting for repairmen who have not fixed it yet. And still a dishwasher that does not work correctly

I have a Whirlpool Gold GU2700XTSQ1 dishwasher, which I purchased because it was highly rated in Consumer Reports. After 20 months of average use, the motor is making a loud whining noise and I have been advised that the motor assembly needs to be replaced. I am appalled at the number of similar complaints posted on this website--there must be something seriously flawed with this make of dishwasher. I would never buy another Whirlpool product as I have also had a problem with my Whirlpool oven and the company has been totally unwilling to assist in solving the problem.

If I do the repair myself, the cost will be about 150--if I have a repair person, the cost will be about 350.

Our original whirlpool dishwasher worked very well until two problems commonly arised: 1) the detergent cup would not open, 2) the dishwasher would not fill with water. Maintenance would not fix the cup saying it could be solved by manually filling it with detergent. Eventually, the dishwasher melted some of our plastic dishes and started smoking while I was deployed. My wife freaked out on the phone with me.

Maintenance said they could do nothing because it would not reproduce the problem while they were there. We were told to call them the next time it happened. When I called them I asked if I should call the fire department first...they still would not cover it. Finally, about two weeks after I got back from my deployment, the dishwasher caught some dishes on fire and burnt everything up. We got a new dishwasher. This one will not dry so it should not catch fire.

Loss of dishes and the dishwasher.

I purchased a whirlpool quiet partner I about 18 months ago, and my motor went as well. I should have known from day one when it was not washing dishes. I was told this was from over filling the dishwasher with dishes. After reading all of these complaints I am going to cancel the repairman coming out tomorrow and buy a new dishwasher if and when I can afford it.
