I had outpatient foot surgery at West Florida Medical Center, which I got preauthorized through the doctor and through the hospital itself. I thought I had done all I needed to do to ensure my insurance would pay the bill. Now, my credit has been blemished and I am paying a month charge to pay for anesthesiolgy charges. What makes it even worse is no one can give me a name to speak with the anesthesiolgist's office to see why they weren't part of the hospital authorization since I was not aware this was a separate charge. My credit is ruined and it is costing me around $1300 for the bill.
