Pineview Estates

Ronald of Englewood FL (03/15/06)
While looking for homes in Georgia we stopped at PineView Estates in White, GA and saw a home we liked with Sales Agent Brad C. They had a lot available that the builder (Southern Homes) could purchase from another builder and build us the home. We wanted some changes and/or upgrades done so the sales agent was going to contact the builder to get a final price. We asked BEFORE we left to return to FLorida if he needed any monies to hold or what we needed to do. The agent  stated he did not at that time and we would get first refusal if anything came along.

We returned to FLorida and began faxing back and forth with PineView Estates with our upgrade requests. Melissa D (whom we never met) started calling us with the requests and started negotiations with the builder (Southern Homes). We offered a price and awaited to hear back from Melissa. She returned the call 2 days later with a counter offer and we offered $5,000 less so she said she would call the builder right away and return our call within the hour. We never received a call for 3 days and we called her asking why she did not return a call (said she was busy).

Today 3/15/06 we telephoned Melissa for any new info and she asked to call us back because she was busy. Hours passed and the call from her advised us that the lot had been sold this morning. Her statement was the builder can build you another one and first come, first serve. We told her that we had offered to leave a check with Brad and he stated that never happened. This is not professional, nor ethical to treat people this way. We lost another opportunity to get a different home because of these unprofessional, rude and heartless idiots. In addition, we cannot locate Southern Homes of Geogia as a Licensed Home Builder. I asked Melissa if he was a licensed builder and she didn't know.
