Geico has basically not paid a claim when their insured vehicle was at fault and I was not based on their claim that they cannot locate the owner of the car to verify with him it was not stolen. The car was not reported stolen. SC law states the insurance follows the car. The car they insured was at fault.

I have incurred debt for a rental, hospital visits, and new car.

I was involved in a hit and run in my apartment complex, Geico has plan in place for this they said my best bet is to knock door to door and see if anyone admits to hitting my truck, thanks geico way to help out!! my girlfreind has USAA they have a plan in place for hit and run scratches that occur on private propertly, if you can get USAA 100 is all you pay out of pocket and they fix the damage for you since it really wasn't you or your driving that caused the incident, and that is why any size deductable.

I argued the premium with them after my buying a new car. Meanwhile, I was also shopping online with other companies. However,Geico assumed I said Yes in the phone and agreed with the premium number they offered me. Actually I never said Yes or Agree to renew or Paid the renew fee to Geico. Now I get the much better offer from another big company. I'd like to stop with Geico now, but you cannot imagine that the Geico charges me on the new car within 2 weeks after I bought from the dealer. (The dealer always allow 2 weeks to finalize insurance company).

Now I feel so angry about Geico, why Geico assumed I said Yes to continue with them? Anyway, the dealer allowed me 2 weeks to finalize the insurance company. Why Geico charges me over 10.00 just with 2 weeks? I argued with them and refused to pay that charged fee, I also asked them to show me the proof when and how I have said yes, but Geico doesn't show me the proof and keep the wishful thinking on its part. I will sue Geico! Is anyone here that we can unite together to fight with disgust Geico?

Regarding our daughters fender bender--driving a borrowed car she'd been told was insured by the owner and wasn't; now Geico is going after her on behalf of the people she hit. The update is that our daughter WAS insured by GEICO at that time! We had her on our policy and Geico knows that; but they refused to pay the claim from our policy. We're not sure why. We just went over our records and saw that we had not yet taken her off of our policy, because she had JUST moved out of our house.

Geico obviously just doesn't want to have to pay this at all; even though both parties were insured through them. They are causing our daughter alot of mental anguish by taking her--instead of the owner of the car she was driving to court--even though she WAS INSURED with GEICO.

Single unit multi family dwellers BEWARE! If you use Geico auto Insurance and you have an accident with one of your family members of the same address you are not covered! Check your exclusions and endorsments of your policy. The insurance commission should not allow such exclusions while they demand you and I to have liability insurance.

In Sept of 08 a 23 yr old son with the legal minimum insurance thru Geico , rear ended his father at a traffic light that went from red to green to red just about that fast due to an approaching fast commuter train. A low speed rear ender however with crinkle zones the way they are today the damage to the front vehicle, which should normally be covered by the liability of following vehicle, was 3000. And denied.

I highly recommend rereading your policy and dropping Geigo INS for the frauds that they are. Please be advised that there is no coverage for the above referenced loss. GEICO Casualty Company will take no further action with respect to this claim. Your driver and our insured are resident relatives; therefore, property damage coverage cannot not be afforded for your vehicle due to this loss. Should you have any questions, please contact me at the number listed below . We are required under section 2695.7(b)(3) of the Unfair Claims Settlement Practices Regulations to provide the following notice: If you believe that your claim has been wrongfully denied or rejected, you also have the right to have the California-Department of Insurance review this matter.

the sons truck was damaged beyond the financial ability to repair it and the fathers vehicle was covered by AAA ins.
