My car was stolen and it has been 2 months exactly. GEICO keeps putting me off day after day, week after week. They've conducted 3 different interviews and taped recordings. Every week it's something new with them yet i have heard nothing as to when they plan on paying my claim. My rental car is being paid by me, until they reinburse me, i am still paying ins. for my stolen car and i haven't had it for two months! Worst ins.company ever!

Paul of Bayshore, NY April 25, 2009

I been using gieco for yrs, then all of a sudden I put a claim in cause my truck was damaged not my fault someone else did the damage so I needed to use my comprehensive as it was getting fixed at my body shop which is a certified by geico, geico instructed the body shop to use cheap generic parts on a 45000 Truck? they turn around & tell my body shop they arent going to use factory parts, my truck looks [bad] front end parts dont even line up, now the trucks value is worth nothing,

I will do everything in my power to put or take customers away from geico, for another reason they hiked my insurance up to 250 yr cause of what they told me words exact "Do to the labor & how parts are so exspensive its state wide" meanwhile there is no such thing state wide? no other insurance company is using this lame excuse to steal from customers thats a FACT,

I was involved in a one vehicle accident on 8/5/08. I injured my knee which has resulted in my haveing 2 surgerys, and lots of physical therapy and the loss of my job due to the amount of time I have been out of work due to my injury. My knee problems continue and will probable result in more surgerys or medical treatment . I have been recieving payment for my lost wages and medical bills and have been paid up till recently when geico all of a sudden decides they no longer want to pay for my lost wages and medical treatment. They believe that my condition was pre-existing and that I just Asterbated the old knee injury , due to I told them I had a knee surgery 5 years ago.

I never tried to hide the fact I injured myself 5 years ago they even sent me to see there IME who apperently agreed my knee injury I sustained was from the accident and not pre existing, because they continued to pay my lost wages and medical treatment. All of my Doctors I've seen at the orthopedics dept. all agree that this was not a pre- existing condition it was due to my 8/5/08 accident. This pre-existing condition thing is rediclous and not true, But even if it was wouldnt they still be responsible for my injury and loss wages. Thats why I pay so much for my insurance to make sure I'm taken care of in a situation like this. I'snt this what no fault is for.

The loss of my wages is devastating . I have 4 children and I'm the main bread winner. My bills are late and My medical bills if not paid soon will result in a negative report to my Credit. I will take this case as far as I need to Geico will not win and I will not back down till I'm satisfied with the out come.

we've been with geico for almost 2 years now, with nothing but troubles. first, we were rear-ended by a non-geico patron. geico still has a liability claim against us, that's open...and swear they can't delete it. also, we were traveling down the interstate and another vehicle was hauling furnature - the tarp that was covering it flew off, and hti the front end of our car. it broke the front bumper and did some underbody damage. we NEVER contacted geico about it - we called the state police, described the vehicle, and they called us back with the insurance information. we contacted that insurance company, and they fixed everything back to normal.

geico has a liabiltiy claim against us - for driving, i suppose. they have us so tied up that we can't go to any other insurance company - even though my husband and i both have perfect driving records! they like to change your payment schedules, and change your payments as well.

I was rear-ended by an individual insured with Geico -- I am also a Geico customer. Under Florida's no-fault laws, my medical and lost wages had to be filed under my own policy -- fine -- I was paid 60% of my lost wages. When I asked for reimbursement of the other 40%, I was offered a settlement of 750 (this was one month after the accident). I was also told that I would not be reimbursed for my lost wages or any out of pocket medical not paid by my PIP unless I agreed to settle -- in my opinion this forces a person to settle early at a low amount just to reclaim their out of pocket expenses and is unacceptable.

Geico is VERY unhelpful and this kind of behavior is what causes people to run to attorneys, resulting in higher premiums for all of us. I will be cancelling my Geico policy as soon as practical! TAKE WARNING -- do NOT buy what they are selling! They don't care if you are satisfied with their service or not as long as they don't have to pay on a claim!
