I hit a deer and brought my car in for an estimate from Nationwide Insurance, through whom I have full coverage insurance. There was a small crack in my bumper from a prior accident that I did not enter a claim for, but my bumper was damaged by the deer as well. It is actually hanging off the car. Nationwide refuses to replace the bumper because of the crack that was not caused by this accident. I find this to be ridiculous. The bumper needs to be replaced, as it sustained damaged from the deer...and if the crack were not there, the bumper would be replaced. Makes no sense to me, what do I pay my premiums for? I thought Nationwide was ON MY SIDE?

Well, my car will not be fixed correctly, and I will always be at risk for the bumper to just come off at any time. I will probably just have to pay to have it fixed correctly since my insurance company is leaving me hanging.
