AOL has been double billing me for several months. I'm not able to load AOL on two different computers using the same account without the double billing.

They keep billing me possibly double billing for a closed out account. When I call they say they don't even have that credit card on file. But I am looking right at the bill. Then they want me to fax my credit card information to them. I do not trust faxing private information like that out for anyone to pick up. They will not quit billing me. They said maybe someone was committing fraud. The only ones that could be doing that would be them. AOL is the one reaping the benefits every month.

I have spent countless hours speaking to many represenatives and supervisors about this to no avail. I am distraught over this because I am a single parent and even though I have a job I do not make much money. This amount adds up and causes a stran on me. Especially since I am not receiving the service.

Terry of Saint Albans, NY January 7, 2009

Terry of Saint Albans NY (01/07/09)
They have been double billing me for months. The first bill is at the beginning of the month, and the second is at the end. I never paid to much attention until recently I noticed it was happening every month, I taught the bill was just for the next month. So I called them and was told I opened another account with a screen name I never heard of, not to mention my security question was a name of my Pet, which I never had. They had always advertise that you get additional screen names for free, which I also see is not the case. To add insult to injury they had the nerve to try to get me to sign up for their other services. They would not even talk about giving a refund. I had been with AOL for over 10 years, but today I find they are a rip off company.

I can't even explain what this does to a person. This food from my family. I bill I could have paid, but firgured I did not have enough money to cover it because Aol kept riping me off.
