Louis of Owings Mills, MD, writes (4/19/02):
They have promised to find a solution which has not been done, and meanwhile to manually clear the cache which they never do despite the fact of the cost to my company and business and the lost time involved as well as the aggravation and frustration. I am taking this action after repeatedly seeking help from this company We expect a refund of all money paid to them because of their negligence and at least one year free for the same reason. In addition, we will be seeking compensation for the downtime and money and company time we have lost. Plus, of course redress of this problem. Many ISPs "cache" or temporarily store, Web pages in their system, essentially serving up stale Web pages to their customers. This can drive Web developers like Louis berserk but we doubt he will have much luck getting a refund. |
