D-Best Paralegal

Covina CA

Genel of Troy MT (01/30/07)
In July of 05 we leased a 06 4x4 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel pickup from Tom Addis Dodge on a 3-yr contract. (vin 1D7KU28633J554039). The following January we had excessive rain here. The pickup's water in fuel light came on and the pickup would not restart. I called Tom Addis garage and they advised me to call roadside assistance--they towed the pickup to the nearest garage in Bonners Ferry, ID.

I told them that highway rain water must have somehow gotten into the fuel tank, they said it was impossible, that someone must have poured it in. When they drained the tank they discovered about a gallon of water in it. I had to pay the garage $341.76 because they said it could not possibly have been a Dodge fault. (also out 25 gal of diesel). It happened again, I hired others to remove the tank and a local garage cleaned and sealed the tank, they advised me to attach hoses to the vents--where the water must have been entering. We then receive notification from Chrysler stating that is exactly the case! Still the pickup wouldn't start and so I contacted the Bonners Ferry garage again.. this time they acknowledged it was the fault of the fuel tank and they replaced the injectors and this time the warrantee paid.

The Chrysler notification of the faulted tank stated that they would reimburse for any costs that came as a result before the notification. So I sent them a bill for $714.79, actual cost (not including hardship and expense of being without my pickup). They refuse to pay. I have repeatedly contacted Tom Addis Dodge in Coeur d'Alene for reimbursement.. one will say, yes, it will be paid.. then they are no longer available.. another says you should have brought it back in the first place! (yet I did as they initially advised, by calling Roadside assistance, who would only take it as far as nearest Dodge garage).

To make a long story short.. I am repeatedly given the run-around and they refuse to pay the costs that came about as a result of faulty tanks, which they have acknowledged by the TWO notifications they sent out.. in which they CLAIM that I will be reimbursed. Can you please help me to regain my cost? I am really steamed over this and feel that I have been unjustly dealt with. I have come to regard Tom Addis Dodge garage as crooked, and am thinking no more Dodges for me, going back to Fords in the future if this is the way that Chrysler/Dodge does business. Thanks for listening, Gene Bushnell.

Dan of Long Beach CA (02/23/06)

A year ago I paid Mr. Nguyen $699.50 to file an un-contested divorce for me that should have taken 6 mos. I never received said divorce and all attempts to contact Mr. Nguyen either by phone or by going to his office have failed. He never returns my call's and his office is never open.

Mari of San Bernardino CA (11/10/03)
My ex and I paid this company $700 to file for our divorce papers 2 years ago. He refuses to return our calls, is constantly making excuses to why our divorce has not been finalized. He charged us an additional $100 because we did not follow up with his staff and therfore was under the assumption we did not want a divorce. I have visited his office several times to follow up in person but refuses to give concrete evidence of doing the job we paid him to do. My ex and I are both content that we want the divorce and have each gone our seperate ways. We want the divorce finalized and this company is dragging the process longer than necessary. They need to either follow up with their customers or go out of business. There is no exuse why a divorce should take 2 years to process.

I am out of $700 for a divorce that is way over due. This company should not charge these fees if they lack the responsibility to follow through. I would like my money back.

Melinda of Garden Grove CA writes (5/2/03):
I paid this company to process a divorce for me. He has not followed up on any paperwork. I am always having to call the court to find out what is going on with my case. He is very rude and cursed me out when I requested a detailed list of where my money was spent. He refused saying he did not have time and hung up on me.

In March I supposedly signed the final papers for the divorce. I called him on May 1st only to be told that he needs to re-file my judgement. I asked him when he was going to contact me and why is he letting months go by? He said that he filed the papers but according to the court he has not done so. He refuses to give me my money back or answer any questions.

He never served my spouse the papers but still filed the proof of service with the courts. I am the customer and he yells at me and hangs up. I directly wanted a sheriff to serve my husband, he hired some guy off the street and did not even have the correct address or apartment number for my ex to be served. He never even supplied me with my copies of the court papers execpt for 2 and he stamped them himself thinking I was so stupid I would not know the difference between the court stamp and his.

I am spending day and night trying to sort out the mess of this paralegal. I have no money to hire a lawyer and still cannot get divorced. If I do not get divorced soon I may lose my school grants. I am under a large amount of stress because I cannot find out what is happening. I cant sleep because of this disaster. It has cost me more money and time. Hours spent at the court. More money spent out of pocket in supposed court fees that were false.
