We were led to believe all our creditors that were listed on our bankruptcy case were to be discharged,a few are still threatening lawsuits and even my wife is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing. Did we just waste 1700.00 dollars on a lawyer who continues to charge us 100.00 per letter to send to the creditors who are threatening us, even after the discharge of a chapter 7 on 6/8/09 The creditors that werte listed should have been notified about thisd bankruptcy, am I not correct?

We are on a good re-bound from these debts and have had online counseling about this matter, however my wife has depression, anxiety and panic attacks, although on medication, which is helping her, I feel this may put her back into a state of panic once again
