Soldiers, Sailors, Consumers

Serving in the military is a career for some, an episode for others. But regardless of rank, it's a sacrifice for those who serve. The rest of us are supposed to recognize that and make some sacrifices ourselves. In fact, the Soldiers and Sailors Credit Relief Act requires creditors to reduce interest rates for those called to active duty. There are also specific protections relating to leases, insurance and pending court actions, among others.

But there are always a few who don't get the message.
