They dont know what they are talking about. I asked about the threat posed by Cyanogen chloride, they hadnt even heard of it. (incidentally no mask will protect you from this blood thickening agent) they also seem to pick prices from thin air and are clearly profiteering.

In the end I had two superb masks sent from the uk by gasmasks-direct.co.uk. There people gave me good advice and also supplied a reasonably priced chemical suit. The stuff arrived within 4 days of ordering and the amount has not yet been deducted from my credit card.

I purchased 5 Israeli gas masks and one extra filter online from gasmasks-usa.com. Each item was priced on the website at $49.00 and I was told it was in stock. I then received an email from them saying it was not available anymore for a 2-week delivery, I would have to wait 6 to 8 weeks or I can purchase another mask for $129.00 and it can be shipped in two days.

The mask they are trying to sell me to ship in 2 days for $129.00 is the same mask I ordered but is no longer shipping to me in 2 weeks because I am not paying the new made-up price of $129.00.

I am very upset that this company would take advantage of the public this way in such a crisis. I spoke to a Lisa on the phone and at first she lied to me and said the mask was different. By the end of the phone conversation she explained it was the same mask but I would have to wait the 6-8 weeks now.
