All My Sons Moving & Storage Reviews

I had a wonderful experience with All My Sons Moving & Storage, and I would only consider using them in the future. I called four other companies, and by far, they were the most reasonably priced. The others were just way off the charts. From the first phone call until they repeatedly contacted me to make sure that everything was still good, and they continued to repeat, verifying the dates, and the pick-up time. They showed up on time, they moved quickly, so I never got the feeling that they were sluggish in getting the job done to increase the bill.

I was very pleased and will recommend All My Sons Moving & Storage to anybody. They didn’t dillydally. They got it done. I was surprised that it was a woman who was 50 years old, and a man who might be in his 30s. I was amazed how she works and kept the other young man going. He probably had a hard time keeping up with her. I had everything well set up, ready for them to go, so it was an in and out situation. I had baker boxes so everything was well organized. It was a two-bed apartment, so it wasn't major. I had no appliances. I eliminated a lot of stuff and just took what I needed to take so it wasn't a hard move for them. Also, my apartment was right by the elevator so they had no stairs to contend with. They spoke English and were very clean and careful.

I moved from Lansing to Detroit last year. And I was looking for a moving company that was affordable and reliable to move me long distance, and through a Google search as well. I saw a flyer in my apartment complex that talked about All My Sons. I reached out to a couple of different places. And I got the best rate with All My Sons.

All My Sons Moving was really good when I reached out to them. They followed up with a text message and they were efficient in contacting me right away. However, when the movers came out, they would only load the big pieces of furniture. They wouldn't help me with the moving with the smaller boxes. It was a two-bedroom apartment but for my entertainment center console, they said we could just donate it because they were not going to be able to get it up the steps. I didn't realize until after the fact that there were still things down the underneath part of it that I didn't even get a chance to take out. I lost a lot of video and stuff from that.

I did a Google search to see different movers and All My Sons Moving was the only one who was available on very short notice for me. It was easy to use the service online and it allows me to select what I need, enter my information and get a call back. I wasn't expecting the callback to happen a second I hit send. The first job All My Sons Moving had done for me was when we were doing some renovation in the center, they moved me to a storage unit so we could do the construction and move me back. I also had them do some other general moves in our commercial space. They've been pretty accommodating with helping. They listen to the requests that I need and they will tell me whether or not they can do it based on the availability of their team.

We had used All My Sons Moving & Storage previously, and using them again for the second time was a very good experience. They were very helpful. Heather, the moving coordinator, was excellent. She was conscientious, followed up on everything, and made sure there were no questions. We made a local move, probably about five miles to where we moved to and five miles back, so the team made a couple of trips. They were very considerate with everything and impeccable with what they did. They showed a lot of detail, as far as what they were doing, not to mess up any furniture and not to damage any walls or paint.

All My Sons Moving really impressed us! They were incredibly professional and friendly. We were kept informed throughout the entire process, so we always knew exactly what the plan was. They reached out to remind us about moving day two days prior just to make sure we were all on the same page, which my organizational brain loved. The moving crew were incredibly fast! They cleared out our 10x20 storage unit and moved everything into our two-bedroom apartment in just three hours. We also really appreciated the care they took with our new place. Before moving anything into the new place, they laid out protectants and covered the entry door to make sure nothing was damaged or scuffed. We highly recommend All My Sons. Caleb and Bleux were on top, quick, and professional! They walked through each room of the house to understand our needs and made sure everything was wrapped up and safe to travel! We are very happy with their friendly service! We will use them for our next move!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with All My Sons Moving & Storage and would strongly caution others before using them. We paid extra for insurance coverage specifically to protect our belongings, yet our move resulted in significant damage to high-value furniture, including a bed valued at approximately $5,000 and a custom table worth around $500. The damage was completely avoidable and appeared to be caused by careless handling during the move.

DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS. All My Sons was contracted to remove steel and iron auto parts into a dumpster and clear out trash (not garbage) into another dumpster for a minimum or 3 hours. One of the men complained of back pain and did little. They quit after 1 hour and 25 minutes, sat in their truck for a long break, then declared they were not supposed to clear out the trash, as they were informed that job was to be an apartment clean out. It was not. It was an auto shop clean out. They left an hour early after working only an hour and 25 minutes. I received less than half of the contracted effort for 2.5 out of 3 people. Horrible work ethics.

I've gone with All My Sons before, so there is a brand recognition and it was a good rate for my needs. It also worked with my schedule. A lot of different things came into alignment, and I made the decision to go with them. The drivers they sent out were cool, and we were talking and laughing while getting everything completed, and it went well. They were very friendly. The rate I was given in the beginning stayed the same and didn’t change at the end.

Movers called 45 minutes ahead of time. I had a few small pieces of furniture and 23 bins/boxes. Was quoted $322 when I went to pay the total came out to $694. I questioned the difference and they deducted a half hour of time so in with deposit, I paid double the initial quote. I was fine with it because I was not prepared to move the items myself. The gentleman moving me said “You know we accept tips for great service,” which obviously I planned on tipping anyway, but is fully unprofessional to say to any customer.

I detailed the needs for my move, was given a quote (about $500), then on the moving day was told I owed $250 more. Completely dishonest in quoting.

Awesome Team! The moving team was professional, efficient, and handled everything with care from start to finish. They arrived on time, worked quickly, and made the entire moving process much less stressful. I appreciated how respectful they were with my furniture and boxes, making sure everything was protected and placed exactly where I wanted it. Communication was great throughout the move, and the crew maintained a positive attitude the entire time. Nothing was damaged, and they completed the job faster than expected while still being careful and organized. The pricing was fair for the quality of service provided, and I would definitely use this company again in the future. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy moving service. They truly made a stressful day feel smooth and manageable, and I am very satisfied with the overall experience and customer service they provided throughout the entire move.

I have nothing bad to say about this business. Scheduling my move was super easy and the price was very fair. They moved me carefully and efficiently, finishing on time. I would definitely use them again. Thank you!

The guys from All My Sons did an okay job. A few things were broken. My somewhat new dining room table has been scratched in several places, and it was only a few months old. So, that was unfortunate. Plus, I have an $8,000 bed. Unfortunately, when they put that thing back together, it wasn't put together correctly. Something got bent. But they were great movers, and things went pretty fast.

I had a wonderful experience with this moving company 🙂. The two men that actually moved me were very professional and went above and beyond. I won't hesitate to use them again should I ever need a moving company 🙂.

I've used All My Sons Moving in the past years, and they're well-known around here. I was selling my house and downsizing, and I was moving about an hour from here. Dealing with the rep who did the estimate was good. But the quote was not accurate at all. I asked about them hauling away any items that I didn't want, and they said it was a $275 fee. I said okay and it ended up being enormously more. I expected a total bill of less than a thousand, and it was almost 1,600. I was floored. I didn't figure I could do anything about it. I was just glad that the move was done. Still, both drivers were good and the crew was very thorough. It was amazing how they packed up my furniture and the lengths they went to protect it.

I was very pleased with this company. They arrived on time and were very accurate and professional during our move. They were very happy to please us in whatever we needed. I asked for some specific items to be put into storage and one chair to be put on the truck last and they had no problems with it. They wrapped all my furniture and pictures along with my mirrors and nothing was broken or misplaced. They are an excellent company with very professional movers. Thank you All My Sons!!!

The guys that moved me were awesome, fast & took great care when disassembling my furniture wrapping and moving everything. Prices are a little steep so I would recommend but I don’t think a lot of people would be able to afford it.

Great through the entire process, from initial phone calls, and scheduling through the move. Great communication and the folks who showed up to move did a wonderful job. On time, efficient, knowledgeable and treated our belongings with care & respect. Highly recommend!

Set up for job was done by phone with no problems. On the day of the job, the crew came at the appointed time and started the job. The pickup was done according to my orders and delivery to my storage space was made prompt without any delays. Overall I was pleased with the job and the crew. Chas get me well informed with everything. The job was done within the minimum time allowed for job. Good Job.

All My Sons did a fantastic job of making my family feel comfortable with the entire process from scheduling, to loading & transporting, to payment. I especially loved the phone call in-between locations just to make sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend All My Sons to anyone for any move, big or small!

Had two movers and a 4-bedroom house on each end of the move, with a decent amount of the furniture moving to a second story at the destination sight. Movers were fast, professional, and easy to work with.

The team was on time. They really worked hard to get my house packed quickly and then loaded on the truck. At times extra guys were brought in to help and that created a little confusion. End results was many of my boxes were mislabeled or very generically labeled and unpacking was more time consuming than I expected due to just finding all the boxes for a room. Overall good job tho and nice group to work with. My move was 1200 miles so that does add complexity I do realize.

Do not use All My Sons! They will hold your belongings on their truck and make you pay more to unload them!!!

I googled moving companies, and All My Sons came out as the cheapest. Their customer service was all right. The drivers both did a great job, except the dude left the air conditioning on the side. Can't do that. It's bad for him. The only problem was all the paperwork. I'm a poor man with a broken leg. I needed to move one room one block, and I can't move a couch right now, unfortunately. I could pay for one hour of stuff. The only hour I could afford, and 15 minutes of it were taken up with their paperwork. I feel like that should be taken care of beforehand, or not come off my part of the bill instead. But my experience with them was gold star.

We were moving, and I had to move within a month or a week. I called five moving companies, and I landed on All My Sons. They have the best rate and real person. My experience with them was super fast and super easy. They just asked what we had in our house, and I told them. They said, "Okay. We could do that." The movers were cool, super fast, and sweet. They got done what would have taken my husband and me a month or so to do. So, that was nice. They moved all of our big stuff. We were able to spend the night in our house the day they moved us. They were really nice, very respectful, and took care of our stuff. Everything came back exactly the way they packed it up. They were also easy to contact, respectful, and they got stuff done pretty fast.

I was looking for a mover online, and I looked up a bunch of them. All My Sons Moving sounded good and trustworthy, and had a good price. I had stuff packed that I wanted to take and the crew moved everything I asked them to move. All My Sons Moving was great and I had an excellent experience with them.

All My Sons was great. We really enjoyed them. We've used them twice now. We renovated our house a year ago. My husband called around until he found the best price that was fair, and it was All My Sons. We had such a great experience the first time that we called them back and moved right back to our house. We went through room by room to figure out what exactly we were moving so they could figure out how many people to send and what size truck. The movers were so much fun. All My Sons made our move much less stressful. They were efficient. It did not take all day, and they did not cause any damage. I highly recommend them.

We have moved 20 times over the years, and this was by far the worst. Packing was horrendous, nearly every piece of furniture was damaged, and we spent a lot of money to get it repaired. The cost ended up being thousands of dollars more than the estimate. I would not ever recommend this mover to anyone.

We used All My Sons moving and noticed my television was broken in the move. Needless to say, it was a very expensive Sony 75". They are only paying .60 cents a pound for the damaged merchandise. The replacement cost would be $5,000 now. All I got on one review was. "We hope you accept our apology for the unsatisfied service." I do not accept it and want this taken care of in the right way.

My family and I used All My Sons for a local move. Scheduling was simple and the rates were fair. Movers arrived within the earlier part of our window and everything went smoothly, with all items moved successfully and within a few hours. Very efficient!

I am writing to file a formal complaint against All My Sons Moving Company regarding an incident that occurred on April 29, 2026. I scheduled a move with this company and was provided with an estimate of $343. However, after loading my belongings, the movers informed me that the total cost had increased to $671—nearly double the original estimate—without any clear or reasonable justification.

We were introduced to All My Sons Moving through D. R. Horton, the company we bought our house from, because they had a better rating for the D.R. Horton customers. The move was under 10 miles and the rep involved with the inventory and the quote was very good. It was very precise. Using All My Sons was much easier and less expensive than I previously thought.

I went with All My Sons for the money. I got what I paid for and it was terrible. They damaged my stuff. They were fighting with each other. They spent almost an hour arguing with each other outside about who was going to use the tablet to get me to sign. They didn't do it until after, instead of at the beginning. Another guy showed up sick. I put on with dispatch that we were going to a retirement community, we had immunocompromised people, then a guy showed up really sick. I told him I didn't want him there but he said he tried to tell dispatch he was sick but they made him come in anyway. I asked who was the person he talked to but he wouldn't give me a name. If he talked to somebody, he'd know their name. Nobody forced him to work like he was saying, which is really bad image on All My Sons' part. I ended up getting sick after that. I was not happy.

Moving is a daunting task however the team at All My Sons made it easy and seamless. Travis was transparent with charges and timing so I had a lot of confidence going into this move. He was very kind and professional and did a great job explaining the process. From the minute Keri (sp) and Adonis arrived they were polite, professional and incredibly kind and respectful. They worked so well as a team and completed the move out with such care for my belongings. The move in was just as great and NOT ONE THING… let me say this again, NOT ONE THING was scratched, dented or damaged in any way. I’ve moved several times and can tell you this is the first time that has EVER happened. I would highly recommend All My Sons for your moving needs and if you’re fortunate enough to get Adonis and/or Keri you know you’ve gotten the BEST. They made this moving day a very happy day!

The movers did a great job and were very patient. They made sure that the items were placed in the proper rooms and they were very polite. They packed everything neatly and professionally! I am extremely disappointed with the service we received from All My Sons Moving & Storage during our recent local move in Birmingham, AL. From the beginning, we were given very clear expectations: one full day for packing, one full day for moving and setup, and a team of five experienced, professional movers. Unfortunately, almost none of these promises were honored. On packing day, five crew members arrived, but one was completely unproductive and left within an hour, stating it was his last day. The remaining crew failed to inform us that we were only allotted five hours to pack a fully furnished five-bedroom home—an unrealistic and unacceptable limitation. As a result, only about 50% of the packing was completed, with the remainder pushed to the next day.

The guys were very polite and professional. They had my things loaded and unloaded super fast with no damages. Easy to work with and knowledgeable crew members made moving hassle free. Best move I’ve ever had!
