What to get the dog who has everything? Most pet owners are choosing toys and treats this holiday season.
In a poll conducted by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), 29.5 percent of respondents indicated they plan to buy toys for their pets this year. Another 12.8 percent of those polled said they plan to buy special treats for their pets.
Other popular gifts include: a bone, an IFAW Gift for Animals, greenies/catnip and a new ball.
The poll surveyed 312 people across the United States. Full results are below:
Pet toys: 29.5 percent
Tasty treats: 12.8 percent
Bone(s): 10.6 percent
An IFAW Gift for Animals: 8.3 percent
Greenies or catnip: 7.7 percent
A ball: 7.4 percent
New pet collar: 6.7 percent
New outfit: 5.1 percent
Charms for pet collar: 2.2 percent
Other gifts: 9.6 percent.
