More About Rebate Madness

There's more than one way to get that rebate check. Companies like Costco, Rite Aid and Staples have their own Web sites at which you can apply for a rebate for any product they sell. Besides individual sites, there are more general sites like www.RebatesHQ.com and www.mrrebates.com, which list categories of items (clothing, garden, books, etc.) you can explore to hunt down a rebate and apply online.

Some, like the Mr. Rebates site, have "partner stores" that refund a percentage of the money you spend. Adidas, for example, refunds 10%, whereas at Baby Gap, you'll only get 2%. At RebatesHQ.com, you can search for a rebate by manufacturer or promotion code. This site also helps you track your rebate.

Quite honestly, we don't know enough about these companies to recommend them. However, as of this writing, we have received no complaints about MrRebates and only two about RebatesHQ.
