Debbie of Foster City, CA, writes (5/31/01):
I ordered Radiant Health products in Jan or Feb of 2001. I received my order and tried the product. It caused me to break out in hives. I called the company to cancel my future orders and get my refund (I also sent everything back to them) and they told me to take half the amount of concoction and try it again (this was 4/09/01).

So, they sent it back to me. It took approximately another month, (but this time I did not take the concoction, I only took the minerals and oil) in which I started to suffer severe hot flashes, which stopped when I stopped taking the minerals. I reached this conclusion only after I discussed it with my doctor.

Yet, I reordered a second time (May 10) because I thought it would help me lose weight, which it didn't. However, I realized I needed to cancel because nothing was working, so I did two days after I reordered. That's when they told me I would have to refuse the order and then I would get my refund. So, when the second order came I refused it. This was all done by an 800 number and I did get names. I sent the package back and kept the UPS tracking number so I would have proof I returned the products. They have a stamped signature that reads Munoz received this was on 5/30/01. Yet, They refuse to refund me. I talked to the refund manager today.

If Debbie keeps ordering and taking mail-order concoctions she may end up losing weight but it will be through the decomposition process. Debbie should ask her doctor to refer her to a registered dietician, who can help her lose weight through proper nutrition. She should also ask her doctor to recommend an exercise program. These are the only two ways to lose weight safely -- eat less, burn more. Hot flashes won't do it.
