I placed an order on Friday of last week (5/12) for Mother's Day. I was informed that the delivery would be made on or before Mother's Day 5/14. When flowers had not arrived by Mother's Day I checked on line to discover that they had supposedly been delivered on the day before Mother's Day. When I phoned to let 1800flowers know that they had not in fact been delivered I was completely mistreated.

There was subtle accusatory tone in the reps voice as if I lying. I was told it would be a matter of days before they could resolve the matter and they would get in touch with me. I phoned the day after Mother's Day and was told they still didn't know what occured but they would credit my charge and resend the flowers for delivery that day. Tuesday 5/16, still no flowers. I had my daily conversation with them and spoke with another rude rep who had an accusatory tone. She said they would do what they could but it was the local florist who was not completing their obligation. She promised that flowers would be sent tomorrow.

At this point it's beyond ridiculous. I will never use this service again and highly warn anyone else who has a meaningful event which occurs on/or even around a particular date.

Mothers Day 2006: I placed an order for My Mother's flowers on 5/3/06 to be delivered on 5/5/06 which she did receive unfortunately the arrangement I choose wasn't exactly what she received, I paid extra for a nice vase and they sent the flowers with a cheap clear glass vase. I also ordered a Jane Carroll design from 1800flowers for my Mother in-law on 5/8/06 to be delivered on 5/12/06.

So, on Friday May 12th no flowers showed up so I called 1800flowers and put on hold for 45 minutes. They told me UPS rescheduled the delivery for Saturday May 13th. Again I called her that evening and no flowers. I again called 1800flowers on hold for 30 minutes to cancel the order because at that point the flowers couldn't have survived in a hot truck for that many days. I then received an email on Monday morning from 1800flowers stating the flowers would be delivered on Monday May 15th. They were delivered but all the flowers were DEAD.

I ordered flowers on May 8th as a surprise gift for my Mom on her birthday; on May 9th the flowers arrived but look very horrible. Majority of the flowers were worn out and the size doesn't even look the same as the one on the picture. I called their customer service to file a complaint and i was on hold until 45 minutes. After talking to the customer rep. she told me they will deliver another one to my house to replace the previous one.

On May 10th my Mom was at home waiting for the delivery the whole day but no one comes. I then called them back the rep told me that they did delivered to our house but no one home. My Mom and my sister was at home at all time on that day. How would they make up stuff like that. The rep once again told me that they will be another delivery to our house the next day. I told her i would like to have a refund instead of another delivery. As of right now i still haven't see anything credit to my account. I'm so dissappoint with the service and with the flowers.

How would you feel if the flowers that you're getting for your Mom turn out to be so horrible and ugly? I will suggest all my friends and co-workers not to order flowers from 1800flowers.com again. This is the 1st time and will be the last time that i order from this company.

My son send me tulips for Mother's Day (He's in Iraq). They arrived on time but they are terrible. They are in terrible shape and have a black fungus on the wilted foliage.  I called their 800 number and was on hold for over 30 minutes!

They took my son's money and sent dead flowers.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mom on Friday, 5/12/06 for Mother's Day. Today is Sunday, Mother's Day, and she still doesn't have them.

I checked the status of my order online and it just showed that the order was placed. So I called customer service and after about an hour of holding, they tell me that the flowers were shipped on Thurs. to be delivered Friday but they will not make it there until Monday.

I won't be using them again.  I'll spend the extra time to find a local florist.

I wanted to cry when I opened the box from 1-800-Flowers.com that was delivered by UPS today.  The flowers (and I use the term loosely) were closed, freezer burned, unopened buds. Some were broken and laying in the box. I can't even tell you what kind of flowers they are.

I tried to call the company to have them replaced before my son saw them on Sunday.  I've been disconnected four times and when I went on line, I was 45 in the queue for Customer Service.

I placed three orders with them on April 7, 2006, going to three different people. The first one was delivered - flowers were wilted. The second and third orders still had not been delivered as of April 10. I called and asked them why:  the reasons were incredible:

First I was told the florist was OUT OF FLOWERS! Then I was told they tried to deliver the flowers, but no one was home. That would be fine except I was delivering to businesses. Then I was told that they were indeed delivered, but the florist couldn't remember who signed for them.

They finally said they would check into things and call me back. I got one phone call from a woman who said the flowers were being re-delivered immediately. Within the same minute, I got a call from another woman who said they couldn't deliver to the airport and that I was getting a refund. THE AIRPORT? I didn't order anything to the airport!

I called back on April 22 because I found out nothing else was ever done on my account (no delivery, no refund) and am told the flowers would all be delivered by 2PM that day. Guess what? Today is April 26 and nothing has been done.

I asked around to people I had sent flowers to before via 1-800-Flowers.com. One person said her flowers were so tiny that she wondered why I had gotten so "cheap" - I had paid nearly 100 for her arrangement!!!   What a SHAM!!!

I ordered tulips for my wife for Valentines Day. I specifically selected the product because it included a green ceramic pitcher which I knew she would love. The name of the product even included the word 'pitcher'.

She did receive tulips, but they were the product that was 10 less which did not include the pitcher. Yet 1800Flowers billed me for the product I ordered.

I have sent 2 electronic form submissions to explain that I ordered the more expensive product specifically to get the pitcher. I received 2 automatic responses saying my request was received and someone would be contacting me SOON. It has been 10 days........

5 day before Valentines Day, I ordered a bear, chocolates, and balloons for my boyfriend. I went to the store personally, paid in cash and was promised the order would arrive on Valentines Day between the hours of 9AM and 5PM.

I called 1-800 the morning of Feb 14th to confirm my order would be shipped and was assured my order was one of the first to be shipped out that morning. I spoke to my boyfriend several times at work that day  but he did not mention anything about the gifts.  Finally, at 5pm, I had to ruin the surprise and asked him if  he recieved anything at work.

I called the place and after getting hung up on several times they put me on hold for 25 minutes.  I finally got a manager who told me that 'no one told me that the gift woud be on time'!  Her response was "well its too late now, we could resend it tomorrow".  I told her that is not ok, my valentines was ruined and to cancel my order.  She said ok.  She was nasty, rude and unprofessional.

The next day they shipped the order out any way. My boyfriend refused the order and sent it back.

On 2/10/06 I ordered tulips, chocolate and a balloon for Valentines Day.  I paid 14.98 extra to make sure that the delivery be made on 02/14/06.

Valentines Day came and went and no delivery was made. Tried to call 1800flowers.com several times only to be put on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time. Tried to get status off the website and only got a message that the order was placed on 02/10/06.

On 02/15/06, I receive an email stating that everything was delivered on 02/14/06 to my girlfriend to her workplace. The website was finally updated to show that the order was received by my girlfriend on 02/14/06 but neither she nor anyone at her workplace received anything, nor was there any message left on her voicemail.

I tried to use their live online support but was put into a queue with more than 800 other people waiting and the number did not move for 30 minutes. I tried again and sent several emails.

So now I am out 97.37 and no tulips, chocolate or balloon, not to mention a ruined Valentines Day for my girlfriend.
