I ordered two bouquets for my daughters for Valentine's Day. She lives in a college dorm and I intentionally specified the building so they could deliver the flowers there.

On Valentine's Day I received numerous notices about the delivery status of one daughter's flowers, but not the other's. When I tried to contact them, I encountered an electronic wall. The "customer service" number did not connect with a live person and would repeatedly disconnect.  Their "live e-chat" allowed me to register and informed me that there were 215 people ahead of me. While I waited for half an hour that number progressed to 204.

On 2/15 my daughter called to say she finally got her flowers and they were dead. The flowers were left in a "package trailer" and she had to find out where they were and pick them up!

When I tried customer service again today, I encountered the same electronic wall. I have sent them an email requesting a refund and I will NEVER AGAIN use 1800Flowers for any purpose.

I placed an order, one week in advance, for Valentines Day. I had the option to have flowers delivered on 2/13 and save the extra shipping charges but I opted for delivery on Valentines day, which they claimed was guaranteed.

I checked on the UPS website to track the shipping and it stated my order was out for delivery on the 14th. It turns out the package was left at the UPS warehouse.

I contacted 1800flowers.com and after being disconnected 3 times by live operators, I called the customer service number and received a recording that said "thank you" and hung up!  Finally, after 2 hours of calling, I was told the flowers would be delivered the next day and would have to be cancelled by the recipient in order for me to receive a credit.

The flowers were delivered to the wrong location, therefore the recipient was not able to cancel. I went through the whole process of calling and waiting and getting hung up on. I was told I would be credited and a new batch of flowers would be sent. I have yet to be credited and flowers have yet to be delivered.

My husband placed an order for a dozen roses to be delivered to my office on Valentines Day.

The flowers were not delivered until 2:30 the following day. I tried to reach 1800flowers by phone to no avail and also called the number, on the card with the flowers, but only got a recording.

My husband was dissatisfied since the flowers were not delivered on the day originally requested.

Debbi of Des Moines, WA February 14, 2006

My husband placed an order for 1800flowers to deliver flowers to me for Valentine's Day. They were to be delivered on the 13th, so that I could enjoy them at my desk all week.

They arrived DEAD.

I called to let them know immediately and was told that they would have flowers delivered from a local florist by the end of the day. This morning I still have not seen any flowers and cannot get through to customer service. The only department I can reach is the order desk and, even speaking with a supervisor, nobody can offer me any assistance.

I was told to call back on Feb 15th and I cannot even request a refund at this point.
