I purchased a Playstation 2 on Nov 8,2000 from fol.net and the company billed me that same day. They were not able to fulfill the order so they said on Dec 5, 2000 they would refund all the money back, but it's been a month and they haven't given me my refund on my credit card. In addition shouldn't the company have never charged any amount because the item was never shipped? Most other companies charge your credit card when the item ships. Fol.net took our money first and kept it. The company guaranteed the item before Christmas and was not able to fulfill their promise. I had to pay interest on my credit card for 2 months because they are not giving me the refund. Families On Line sells itself as "Filtered with the Family in Mind." That's nice, but it needs to brush up on Federal Trade Commission regulations which prohibit charging for items that are not shipped. "Family values" should include obeying the law. |
