Aaron of St. Louis writes (1/15/02):
I put in an order for 2 turntables (record players) well before Christmas. I received one of them but the other I haven't received. I paid a total of $344.00 for both of them including shipping. The model of turntable that I haven't received is a Stanton str8-60 which was sold to me for $175.00 plus whatever shipping costs applies. I have called them numerous times and everytime they say that the item has been shipped on monday but won't give me a tracking number for the shipping company.

I have spent more time than I needed trying to get a straight answer from these people. Everytime I call no one gives me straight answer on whether or not they even have the item in stock. I have lost $200.00 plus dollars on a product that I haven't received plus the time it's taken me to do this and call 4 times a week for the past 3 weeks.

This company is potentially in violation of Federal Trade Commission regulations governing mail-order shipments. It can get in big trouble if it does not notify consumers when shipments will be delayed and give them the option to cancel.
