Oregon Scientific

Jarrett of Goshen NY writes (10/31/01):
I bought a alarm/projection clock product model#BAR338PA which was advertised and also stated in the manual that if you hit the snooze button the time will be projected on the wall for 5 sec. This did not occur and I then called up customer assistance. The representative nastily explained that they removed that option after production. Nowhere on the box or the manual did they explain this new change.

One of the main reasons why I picked this product was for that option. There is false advertisement with no attempt to correct it. The product was $100 and I feel they should correct the problem.

Well, here's what it says on the company's Web site as of 11/1/01: "Product Features: Project Time and Temperature onto wall or ceiling. Reverse switch turns display 180 deg for your choice of easy viewing options." We'd say somebody isn't being very scientific in their description of the clock's features.
