TV Market - tvmarket.net

Donna of North Fort Myers FL (10/16/03):
I placed an order on-line for a piece of exercise equipment. Sept. 15, 2003. According to their web page, the item was to ship within 2-3 days by FedEx. I was immediately billed for the item on my credit card. After 10 days, the website listed a tracking number for the shipment supposedly shipped by FedEx on Sept. 25, 2003.

I just happen to work at FedEx and traced the package. The package info was received by FedEx but no shipment was ever made. Subsequent inquiries by e-mail and direct links from the TVMARKET.net website have gone unanswered and the phone number is no good. The item was paid for and never shipped and the company fails to respond.

I was billed on my credit card for an item that the company never shipped. The item is $65.00, but I received nothing.

Donna should immediately notify her credit card company and dispute the charge. It would also be helpful if she would file this complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, which takes a dim view of such goings-on.

We checked out the firm's site and found no contact information and no physical address. Bad signs.
