I read in Newsday yesterday about this website called zabasearch. They have me living in NYC at my ex-husbands address with my birthdate. I have never lived there and have resided in Roslyn for more than 40 yrs. It was published about 12 different times with different dates. Those telephone numbers are his. I do not talk to him and he has been gone for 15 yrs. Where does zabasearch get this information. And if this is public knowledge where is it made public. Maybe I am being used for identity theft of my name.

I have repeatedly asked Zabasearch to have my personal information removed from the www.zabasearch.com website. I do not know how they obtain such information and I find it to be a violation to my privacy. If I wanted my information to be public, I would have announced it in the white pages.

I e-mailed the company at optout@zabasearch.com, requesting that my name and personal information be removed from their website. As yet, I have not received any response.

It's very upsetting to me that my address is available to any person who enters my name into their website. I feel this is an encroachment on my right to privacy. Furthermore, I do not want any other persomal information to be reported on my behalf without my consent.

Despite following the directions to remove my information from ZAbasearch, I remain listed also followed instructions for removal from intellius- to no avail.

I have repeatedly emailed ZabaSearch.com to delete my information to no avail. Something has to be done to stop this. In todays world a company should not be authorized to post personal information without permission.
