Consumer Complaints about Zabasearch

Valarie of Bryans Road MD (09/07/08)
zapasearch is a rip-off. I purchased a 50.00 package to gather information about people I needed to get in contact with. They offer relatives, neighbors, phone numbers, friends, etc. The information that I retrieved was nothing more than what I had. Their database is not current information. You are only able to seek information pretaining to one person.

I would like to be refunded.

I've been divorced for 14 yrs. and have a different name...but recently found Zaba has linked my ex's name and his new wife to my address...that he and she have never lived at...consequently I am getting their mail. Can it be removed.

For over two months, I have written to posted address for removal of info, yet ZabaSearch refuses to remove my information.  I am receiving very frightening phone calls from unidentified strangers, claiming to have located me from ZabaSearch website.

Violet of Arlington, TX August 2, 2008

Violet of Arlington TX (08/02/08)
Zabasearch continues to publish information about me, when I have demanded that they respect my privacy and take information about me off their websites. I have received strange phone calls from unknown people who say they have found me on zabasearch, and I am frightened.

Some of the information they publish about me is even false, leading me to believe that some of the phone calls are intended for someone else with my same name. What are we going to do about these invasions of privacy? Why won't anyone stop this?

Strangers all over the world now know where I live, how much money I make and other details. I am also being confused with someone else who may have dangerous associations. Please, please stop zabasearch.

Valery of Atlanta, GA July 24, 2008

Valery of Atlanta GA (07/24/08)
This website has my name and address published on their site and for a little more than 2 years I have asked them to remove my information. They have only responded once and asked for money to remove the information and I have refused to pay. I am a victim of violence and always keep my information unlisted and I became petrified when someone called me to tell me that my information was listed  immediately I wrote to them and asked to be removed and they responded by asking for a fee. This practice is appalling and bordeline extortion to consumers. Obviously they do not realize how dangerous this is.

I have been found by this perpetrator and now reliving in fear once again because my address became known to him by these websites.
