Sharon of Fort Lauderdale FL (10/17/03):
On 06/13/03 purchased a Shih-Tzu puppy for $530 advertised as AKC purebred. Contract that was signed states "AKC registration papers will be mailed within 90 days of purchase". I have tried for over 4 weeks to find out about the papers. Mrs. Voytovich ignores/avoids my calls and e-mails. She told me in one phone call that she was moving and the files were boxed up. I have not been able to contact her since. She has a website advertising her puppies. I would like the "authentic" AKC papers on my puppy or $250 refund.

Damage Resulting: I cannot show my puppy or breed my puppy as a purebred without the registration papers.

Sharon should sue the breeder in Small Claims Court.
