Dog Beds & Crates Etc.

Stacey of Baltimore, MD October 23, 2009

I purchased a Cat Eye bed from dogbedsandcrates.com on September 3, 2009. When it arrived several days later, it was impossible to put together. I e-mailed the company, stating that I wanted to return it. It took days for anyone to reply; I was told to call a man named Mark K. I did. He did his best slick sales spiel, trying to get me to keep it. I refused. He said he would have "someone" pick it up and have it returned. Several days after that, Fedex showed up unannounced at my door. The man asked for the package. I told him that he would have to wait, because the box was not taped shut. The Fedex man said not to worry; he'd tape it shut.

So I handed him the box and he left. WEEKS later, I had heard nothing from Dog Beds and Crates. I sent numerous e-mails and left phone messages; no one contacted me. It wasn't until I left a message that I would be having the bank reverse the charge on my credit card did I get a call from Mark K. He said he'd look into it. This morning (October 22, 2009, FORTY-NINE days after my initial order), I received an e-mail from Mark K that the cat bed was received "damp with gravel on it" and I would not get my money back. That cat bed left my house in PRISTINE condition. If anyone got it dirty, it was Fedex, the carrier that Mark K CHOSE to pick up the package. I paid $45 for NOTHING! And this man is calling me a liar! I'm FURIOUS.
