Our dog got very sick in Dec. 2007 & vet checked for worms to get clean results. Vomiting, thirsty constantly, dry heaves after few days of not eating. Just laid around, Then she got better. Now we had her stool checked again for same symptoms. No worms or parasites again. The one thing we do know is the first time she was eating Alpo prime cuts in the can. Now she's eating Ol'Roy complete nutrition & the bag I got matches no#s listed on recall site. She is 4 yr. old mixed breed. How can I keep affording to take her to vets & get no answers to whats going on? I'm on disability. She has been sick both times we fed her these brands not knowing they we're on the recall list.

She still hasn't ever really bounced back to herself. Twice I've had her to the vet & they dewromed her. I can't afford to keep having her tested on my income. How can I find out if she has kidney damage or any internal damage from these dog foods? I don't wanna loose my dog. She's like our child.

I fed my dogs Old Roy about 8 years ago. I had my Female Mollie on old Roy since she was a puppy. One time we found her in her crate having a seizure, she had thrown-up all over herself and her crate, she could not walk straight for almost 2 days. She was only about 3mo old too. This did pass and we never thought it was the food, but when she had a litter of pups they all came out deformed and many with their insides out, it was very disturbing. All died.

We decided to change her to Science Diet. She had 3 litters since then, and all pups are beautiful pups, with Zero health problems. But while she was on Old Roy she did OFA in her hips which are great for a Saint Bernard. She OFA'd GOOD. She is now about 9 years old and in Great shape and hips still 100%. So I think Old Roy can affect other dogs in different ways. It did not hurt our dogs overall health, but was terrible for the pups and may have caused that seizure when she was little. But Science Diet has been a Blessing. Expensive but worth the health of my dog.

it has came to my attention that olroy will not have the lamb and rice brand any more.. please donot discontinue this. it is the only kind of dogfood that my dog can eat. all others have made her sick. and it is about the only one that doesnt have corn as the first ingriedant. so please dont get rid of the lamb and rice!

I am seeking reimbursement for veterinary bills in the amount of 140.00. My dog ate recalled dog food (Ol Roy High Performance) from the contaminated batch and had diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, vomiting, and dehydration.

My carpet was soiled from my dog's repeated inability to hold her loose stool. I incurred veterinary bills.
