Diane of Huntington Station writes (3/11/03):
Took my dog there for a bath and when I picked him up he smelled like he smoked 2 packs of cigarettes. Also, saw a man clipping a poodle with a butt hanging out of his mouth. Spoke to the owner (Joe) who said to bring the dog back for another bath. He assured me that he was not there that day and no one was supposed to be smoking in there. He said he would take care of it.

I did so the following week. As I brought the dog to the back area I saw a HUGE plate-size ashtray filled to the top with butts. When I asked for Joe (the owner) the 2 people working there acted very vague about this so-called Joe. I left the dog there and thought twice about it after leaving him there. I went back after only 10 minutes and took him out of there. When I called the shop 2 hours later and asked for Joe the same person came to the phone after saying he was not Joe. Then he said he was. The same thing happened the previous week when I asked for him. I had a bad feeling about the whole experience.
